Just an update to what u have been up to. Now the head chef at the Washington Pavilion. I've been still helping people when I can, a little slower now but that's OK. I had to work on myself, my body and mind are going through somethings and I'm approaching this from all angles, God/church, Doctors/science, family/friends and Counseling. Hoping as I learn to deal with this new reality that I can get back to helping others a lot more. "Can't help everyone, but I can help the next one"

I have a true busy week ahead, everyday will be 10 hour plus days, finishing with this great event. Once done with this week, I plan to get back into God's work of helping others/sharing my experience with you through this site. Remember This is not about me, but by sharing it helps others (not all) by giving them inspiration to also help other/push forward in thier own life.
But I also do play, that God keeps my heart open with compassion this full week.

I am selling some items from my old restaurant but I also have some food items that some people may can use. Yes yes I know the key places I can drop off things, and yes some things will go there. But indirect if you know folks that can use baking goods, some frozen foods and Is miscellaneous food products, please have them contact me. The items are free, all I ask is to truly pay it forward.
I try to remember to get some picks out of what's left.

Good Morning,
This is Chef O, my wife and I have Decided to step away from owning our own restaurant. The toll that it has taken from her and especially myself has been a lot and my mental/physical has been hit hard this last few years. From my family, my Counselor, my friends and to my Doctors they all have been worried about my health. So as of yesterday Wiley's and O So Good have decided to part ways. The employees we hired are now Wiley's employees and O's is very proud of the team we help build at the new location.
But when you're wife and kids look at you with worried eyes and hearts, when your mental health goes down, and your physical health hit a level that it has, it's time to listen to love ones and make a change.
And yes we are making decision with first taking care of past mistakes and having a future plan for our family and for me being a Chef, my cooking dream is not over.
I will being less full public social media (except my own personal page, still have to me 🙂), but I plan to change the O So Good Catering page to "O So Good Open Hand", decided to still help who I can, when I can through God guidance. For God's work is never done and I will continue to use my talents/skills/opportunities to do God's work and help folks "with out looking for something in return". For this page, it will Change to "O So Good, what's next", dealing with only business of dealing with with food and the adventures it will bring. When working for another company, it will be very limited on what info is put out, respecting any policies that company may/will have. My Instagram account will be all my cooking no matter what I do and finally my "o so good tasting food" page will stay the same.
So thank you to all, thank you Wiley's for help try to keep the Dream O's going, but this is not the end of a dream, but continuing to live out that dream by becoming a better, healthier person.
