Mark your calendar! The great "Canine Shamrock Shoot at Ruth's Garden" will take place Saturday, March 16 from 12-2pm.

Dress up your favorite canine in St. Paddy's attire (we'll provide the costumes) and commemorate the day with a free portrait!

There will be prizes, free green ice cream pup cups and free biscuits. That's no blarney!

Hatchery staff will resume stockings of Delayed Harvest Trout Waters in March.

Delayed Harvest anglers have different opportunities based on the time of year. For example, these waters are catch-and-release, and only lures with one single hook may be used from Oct. 1 until the first Saturday in June. However, in June, the harvest period of the regulations begins (i.e., the delayed harvest).

This year, on June 1 (the first Saturday in June), only youth under 18 are permitted to fish from 6 a.m.–noon, with no bait restrictions, no minimum length limit, and a seven trout-per-day creel. At noon, these waters open to all anglers under the same regulations until Oct. 1, when catch-and-release regulations go back into effect.
