A little ribbon goes a long way! This is a project we are working on...tall centerpieces....problem is there is not a large budget....actually downright infinitesimal...So to compensate for the lack of flowers we added pattern wire ribbon. Ribbon is typically inexpensive but can deliver a big look. I usuallly add some in my bouquets no matter what the budget!
NOTE: I will post better pics soon, just wanted to share.

Many brides at the Carolina Bridal Fair shared with us that they wanted to use shades of purple for their color scheme. I absolutely love this idea! Growing up purple was my mother's, Dorothy Howard, favorite color. This naturally rubbed off on me. Today purple is not my favorite color, pink is, but I still have a special place in my heart for the color purple (no pun intended).It makes me think of my mother... of home. I think many women share the love of this color for the same reason, it's a color that brings you back to your past. Below is an interesting article I found about this timeless color. What's your favorite shade?
