Hey, wonderful people! 👋

As most of you know, running a small business these days is no easy feat. Some months feel like we're climbing Everest in flip-flops, and we’re not even sure if we packed the right snacks. A big thing we hear from our customers is how much prices have gone up, and we totally get it. We feel you! But here's the reality: we're not trying to compete with the big-box stores or Amazon that can afford to sell things at crazy low prices (probably to fund their CEO's private jets). They don’t care if you leave with a broken product, or if your experience was less-than-stellar. To them, you're just another dollar sign.

We, however, want to be your local staple. Just like Ford’s was to the community for years, we want to be around for the long haul—providing top-notch products that make you excited to shop with us. So we’re making some big changes for 2025, and we need your input to make sure we're doing it right.

First up, we’re all in on growing our florist business. We want to bring you fresh, creative ideas for everything from weddings (our absolute passion!) to funerals, events, homecomings—pretty much any occasion you can think of. Our amazing team of florists is ready to make your floral dreams come true. 🌸

But wait, there’s more! We’re also going to expand our clothing collection, especially with more unique and stylish options for both adults AND kids. We know you love finding something one-of-a-kind, so that’s exactly what we want to bring you.

And... drum roll… workshops! 🎉 We’re cooking up monthly workshops where you can unleash your inner artist, creator, or plant inspiration. Whether it’s a floral arranging class, gardening or something totally unexpected, we’ll have it on the calendar coming out next week! Oh, and private workshops for your office or group gatherings are also fun options now available

We’ve also been asked if we’re adding coffee, and while we would love to make you a cup, we’ve got some seriously awesome coffee shops right in our neighborhood that could use your support: Gilmore Mercantile, Cool Beans Cat Café, and The Wandering Cup. We encourage you to check them out—they're all within walking distance!

Lastly, we’ve got some ideas we’re mulling over, and we’d love to hear from you! Vote on what would get you in the door more often, and if your idea isn’t listed, drop us a comment and we’ll take it into consideration. This store is for the community, and your feedback is what helps us grow and thrive.

It’s time! 🎶 The holiday season has arrived and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Starting this week, you’ll find all the festive goodies, including Christmas cactus, poinsettias, holiday gifts, and delicious foods. Our Christmas elves will be handcrafting bows and gift baskets. Following Thanksgiving, we’ll be hosting our second annual Christmas kickoff party. Join us for a fun-filled celebration on Saturday from 9-4pm, featuring Blair, who will be creating custom personalized ornaments, along with street vendors, free food samples, live wreaths, and garland. It’s not too late to place large poinsettias and bow orders, but don’t wait too long as they tend to sell out quickly! 🎄🎅🤶
