Greece Paint Players Dinner Theater โ37 POSTCARDSโ ARE HERE!!!
When tragedy happens wouldnโt it be wonderful to hide away pretending? Impossible? Maybe just impossibly funny. Playwright Michael McKeever certainly makes it work in โ37 Postcards,โ one of his most popular comedies.
The actors create a space to believe, for just a few hours, that it is possible to make the world go away. All that is left is the laughter and love of a family that is eccentric beyond comprehension. And thatโs what Avery Sutton finds when he returns to his lovely but slightly skewed home in an upscale neighborhood of Darien, Connecticut. The play is almost incomprehensibly funny and suddenly we are slipping through the Sutton fun house giggling with the family. Take a few hours to immerse yourself in this wonderful comic release.
Show dates are February 29 (6:30 PM), March 1 (3 PM) โ March 6 & 7 (6:30 PM) March 8 (3PM). Tickets are $29.00 per person and includes buffet dinner, show, tax, and gratuity. Diplomat Banquet Center 1956 Lyell Ave, Rochester, NY 14606.
