We would like to thank our community for helping make Halloween night so awesome! All your donations made it happen for our kids.
A special thanks to Rotary for donating $300 worth of candy, Royal septic for donating the portable restrooms and Garden Valley Feed for letting us borrow hay bales!

Another special thanks Georgetown Divide Recreation District for making sure the road was closed, portable restrooms were there and helped make sure we all had enough candy for every kid! As well as Murchies Smog and repair for making it all happen on main Street as well!

Feel free to post any special pictures or videos from last night!

We will see you all again next year!

It's that time if year again!!
There are candy donation boxes or bins located at

🎃Holiday Market in cool
🎃Mar-val in Georgetown
🎃The hardware store in Garden Valley and
🎃Terrys Pizza in Georgetown
🎃 Murchies Smog and repair

Please help us make this year's Halloween in Georgetown special for the children in our community by donating candy for the homeowners to hand out to all the trick or treaters! You all killed it last year and I'll bet you'll knock it out of the park this year!

!!ATTENTION!!

Two candy donation bins are now out and ready for donations at Holiday Market in Cool and Marval in Georgetown! There are also monetary donation buckets at the cash registers.
More to follow in the coming days but PLEASE PLEASE get to donating! We got a late start in our collections this year. Thank you all for your efforts to help make this event happen for our kids!!!

We are going to put the candy donatuon bin back at marval.
We have enough for the initial hand out but we often have to refill people and it looks like we need more candy!

I feel like I need to add that there ARE security cameras and we are home most of the time anyway, so please don't steal any candy. I know most people don't do things like that but some people just suck. Please don't come in the fence!the signs should let you know why. 😊🖤🧡🖤🧡

There is a change of donation locations!!!

There are red drop off bins at Marval and 2892 church st in Georgetown.

Monetary donations can be dropped off in donation cans at Holiday and Marval by the registers.

We are hoping for 1800-2000 pieces per house this year!

Hey guys!
I'm posting to tell everyone that we are DESPERATE for candy donations! Last year, our community pulled through in a way that was just so amazing! This year, maybe we haven't advertised enough,but we only have about 10 bags of candy. Which is about 1 house of candy for church st. We are starting to worry over here. Donation bins are located at Holiday, Marval and Terry's pizza. Please pass this post along, especially to all your friends and family who would be attending. Thank you all so much for helping us make Georgetown Halloween safe and special for the littles in the community.

I know two locations to Donate candy for Halloween this year are located at Mar-Val in Georgetown and Hokiday Market in Cool!
We aim to hand out 1600pieced of candy to each house!last year we aimed for 1400 and we made enough to give each house 1600-1700!
We hope to see so many of you this year!

We had an INCREDIBLY successful night of Trick or Treating! Without the help of my family and our community volunteers and Donations, it wouldn't have happened! Thank you all so much for helping and coming out to enjoy the night with us!

HALLOWEEN INFORMATION
Trick or treating will begin at 5pm and end at 8pm. There are some guidelines I ask everyone to follow if at all possible.

Staggered arrival times:
Families with kids ages 0-5 arrive at 5.
Families with kids ages 6-10 arrive at 6.
Families with kids ages 10+ arrive at 7.
If you have children in multiple age groups, please arrive at the youngest child's arrival time.

Social distancing:
please stick to your own family unit.

One way walking:
Please make sure to follow the direction the arrows suggest. We hope to have one way walking on each side of the streets.

Masks:
If possible or even comfortable enough, please wear masks. I know it's controversial so i will respect if you absolutely do not want to wear them but I would ask anyone even remotely up for it to wear one. For the sake of the seniors around and those who organized this event to have less chances of being blamed for someone's illness or passing.

Children cannot grab their own candy:
Those passing out candy should also be wearing masks and should be the ones to put the candy In the trick or treaters bags so we don't have 1200+ kids hands all in the same bowls.

Stay home if you or your child is unwell!!!!!!!
I understand it's halloween and no one wants to miss it but we don't want to spread ANY illness. Be it Covid, the Flu or common cold.

!!! PLEASE AVOID DRIVING ON CHURCH ST/MAIN ST FROM 4PM-9PM!!!

IF you do have to drive on main St. PLEASE DRIVE UNDER 10MPH. We don't want any more tragic Injuries. Protect the children!

We are all so looking forward to seeing all your precious kiddos, big and small. Halloween is what makes living in town worth it.

🎃please be aware of any homes or businesses that have their lights off or have signs saying they are not participating. 🎃

We want to respect everyone's right to choose weather or not they will participate. And we want to keep those people and the children safe as well. Thank you!
