After taking a few days to recover, I wanted to say THANK YOU to all those Georgetown residents who participated in the 3rd Annual Town-Wide Yard Sale this past Saturday. The traffic around town was amazing! I saw so many people out shopping!

I want to remind everyone that I am hoping to step back from being the coordinator for this event and I hope (and pray) that someone or some organization would like to step forward to have this event continue! Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information! All that I have learned over the last three years will be shared!

I have been watching the weekend weather update and with it looking like we are going to be getting occasional rain showers on Saturday, I am going to say that as of right now, we are still a "go" for Saturday, June 8. Unlike last year, there isn't really an option to move to Sunday as well as right now, the forecast doesn't have any thunder, lighting, and heavy showers forecast.

I will continue to watch the forecast, but wanted to give you all an update.

Hi everyone,
First, let’s keep those yard sale registrations coming! Registration deadline is FRIDAY, May 24, 2024! Yard signs have arrived, and I will be emailing those who have already registered about picking up their sign.

Next, I do have an announcement to make. This will be my final year coordinating this event. I worked to create this event for the Georgetown Community, to bring in visitors to our town, help our small businesses, and build community involvement. But it has always been my hope that an organization in town might be interested in taking the event over so that they might use it as a fundraiser. I will share all my notes about this event to anyone who would like to take it over.

I would like to thank Gina & Associates Realty Group and TD Bank-Georgetown for again sponsoring this event.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - Due to the rain and thunderstorms forecast for Saturday, the Georgetown MA Town Wide Yard Sale has been moved to the June 11, 2023 Rain Date!

Traffic update: there is some road work planned for East Main Street from Elm Street to True Lane which could interfere with any of the locations in that area or heading to some of the other locations.

Printed copies will be dropped off at pick-up locations: TD Bank-Georgetown and Hatter's Tea Shoppe by Wednesday.

I am proud to announce that the 2023 Town-Wide Yard Sale will be taking place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 (Rain Date: Sunday, June 11, 2023).

Thank you to the Georgetown branch of TD Bank and Gina & Associates Realty Group for sponsoring the yard signs for this event! Because of their sponsorship, I was just able to order 50 signs!!! These signs will be arriving around May 11th! First come, first served.

For those who have already signed up and mentioned wanting a sign, I will get in touch with you about picking it up when they arrive.

Remember registration closed on May 26th! Fingers crossed that we will get more registrations than last year!!!

There is NO online registration form! All forms (registration form and town permit) are paper forms. They must be returned to Karin by May 26, 2023, to be on the list and map.

Just a quick note, the drop-off box is not yet available. My son and I are in the process of building something really nice that will have a locked dropbox hanging on it. Finishing up painting this week. Fingers crossed that we will have it up by this weekend. A sign for the dropbox has been ordered but will not be here until the 17th. I will share photos of where to drop off applications/permits as soon as possible.

I am excited to announce that I have been able to secure a sponsor for the yard signs so it is looking like I will be able to order 50 signs this year!
