After a quiet couple of weeks, it feels really good to be pulling the Nikon out to capture a 90th(!!) Birthday Party tonight 🥳

As I sit here with a freshly cleaned camera and lenses, three fully charged batteries, all 12 of my memory cards empty and no one waiting on galleries - I realize this is the first time, in so long, that I have a clean slate. How fitting that it happens, heading into the New Year 👏🏼

I started taking myself semi-seriously with the camera back in 2019 and that seems somewhat incomprehensible to me. Six “official” years of growing with you. Six years of celebrating your best moments and six years of being by your side, through toughest times. Please believe that not every gallery is delivered with hearts and smiles.. some are delivered with condolences, instead ❤️‍🩹

I have been fortunate to meet so many people through the years. There are a handful of Women who I consider great Friends - and I absolutely adore their Children - all through our photography experiences together.

So I guess this is my Thank You - and My Happy New Year message too! Once again, I could not do any of this without any of you 😍 - I am endlessly Thankful for all of your support and your decisions to continually choose me! I look forward to what Year #7 brings - and I hope you’re all going into it with a clean slate, too 😎

Christmas Minis - Part 2 🎄
December 7th, 2024

If the first round of Minis were “frigid” - this round was absolutely arctic ❄️
But again - we bundled up and got through it! The children are absolute troopers and I swear, they have so much fun that they forget they are freezing 🥶

Thank You - to everyone who came to me for Christmas Photos this Season! It was another successful Year and this will forever be one of my favorite events! 🎅🏼🎁

Christmas Minis - Part 1 🎄
November 24th, 2024

Not only was it frigid, but we had the worst winds! My set blew over 5 times and I was constantly waiting for breaks in the breeze, for hair to stop blowing around 🙈.. Everyone was freezing, bundling up in blankets between shots with their runny noses and watering eyes 🥶
These sessions were scheduled to be 20 mins each and I think every group finished early to race back to their cars ❄️. but we did it! We captured beautiful Holiday photos and everyone (for the most part 😉) had fun! 👏🏼
Thank You All for being absolute troopers and braving the temps with me! I hope you’ve all been able to slow down and enjoy the Holidays with your Family and Loved Ones 🥰

There really isn’t anything worse than an end of life session for a Doggo who truly isn’t ready 💔
Jeannie reached out when Her Family learned that their eldest fur-child, Moe Moe, had been diagnosed with Bladder Cancer 😢
I know it’s a “me thing” - but when I arrive at these sessions, I always find myself expecting the Pup to be ill, or in a hospice-like state, so when they’re running and rolling and throwing their paws in the air, it just hurts more. They’re still living! They’re still loving their People and they just aren’t ready to go yet.. 😭
I am sorry you’re all facing these times and I hope you get to create many, many more Memories with your Girl, before she has to say Goodbye.
It was really wonderful seeing you and catching up - I just wish we had done it under different circumstances 😔
I am thinking of you all! Thanks for choosing me to capture these moments.

After what feels like an endless run of Family Photos, it was really great to slow down a few weeks ago for some Newborns 🥰
A slow Sunday Morning in Popham, hanging with this Family while they cuddled on the couch and snacked on Goldfish.
It was quiet, it was calm - it was perfect.. Miss Molly - you are absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to see you again ❤️

What a joy it has been, growing up with the Kenney Family ❤️
When we first started, it was just the two of them with their two oldest Daughters!
I have been blessed to have snapped both Maternity + Newborn for their Youngest, Lexi - who is now right up there, doing Cheer moves with her Big Sisters!
These Girls are TOO much fun and I can’t wait to continue growing with them for many, many years 📸
