Awesome tournament this weekend at the Mortal Combat Wrestling Series in Dallas. We had several placers and one CHAMPION (Jordan Gaurdial). Great experience for everyone!

LONG POST:
I've been trying to figure out a way to put into words this weekend at the State Tournament. I can't really...I had a bunch of pictures to post but that won't work either. I use this singular picture not just because of who it is but what it shows.

I've had the privilege of celebrating wins and picking up the peices after losses of some of the best kids I know. For the seniors who are graduating I feel like I'm losing my own kids. I refuse to cry about it but it hurts deeply. We had some tough lessons in the finals but NO losses. We had some tough tournaments in the post season and lost some good wrestlers before we ever made it to the state tournament.

I take responsibility for every shortcoming my kids had as they should take pride for every win they earned. I will remember them as long as this TBI damaged head of mine will allow. I love them all!
