🚨A Fond Farewell!🚨
To our dear friends, former clients and the talented wedding + events community we’ve gotten to know and be a part of, this is a difficult post to write, but we’ve decided to put a bow on this beautiful chapter of Festoon Rentals! It has been a joy to help create so many magical moments at celebrations all over central TX (and that one wild wedding on a cliff overlooking a canyon at Palo Duro State Park!). Festoon was born out of the in-house rentals we offered at our old wedding venue and we’ve watched it grow entirely by word of mouth to the bustling, busy rental shop it is today. It has been an honor and a pleasure working with so many of y’all, to be added to preferred vendor lists, included in your photo shoots, and inducted into the preferred vendor list. And not just getting to work with y’all, but getting to know you, to dream, to hustle, to laugh alongside so many of you. It’s been a gift to have a creative outlet in an industry that celebrates love. I can’t tell y’all how many times I’ve stopped in my tracks in our space admiring all the cool pieces we’ve been able to acquire over time - a collection that all started from an old pink sofa, a fainting couch, and a stash of vintage china + goblets. So many stories tied to these pieces and so many pieces we acquired with a long history already that we’ve been able to breathe new life into. I hate to have to say goodbye but we’ve got a few separate projects in the works between my parents (TJ and Carol) to focus on their art and me (Chase) - I’ll be going to work full time for my husband’s band (follow them at !) and a different version of Festoon later on. If you’re currently booked with us or in the process of finalizing your booking, don’t panic, we’re, of course, fulfilling all our commitments with no hiccups, but we won’t be taking on new projects. We’ll also be working on selling inventory pieces that we’re not holding onto so stay tuned for posts about that later. Fall vibes only around here until Thanksgiving dishes are in the dishwasher! 🍂We picked up this sweet European market cart a few weeks ago and, the very next day, one of our favorite event designers transformed it into the perfect autumn drink station for a 40th birthday celebration. Pure magic!

I’ve been celebrating Mother’s Day as a mom for 3 years now and I call this little guy (Brazos, shown here on one of our lounges at his favorite venue which shares his name) my personal assistant because he’s on a lot of deliveries I go on. He’s always eager to help and explore new places. I grew up tagging along with my own parents to venues as a kid in Houston where my parents worked as internationally award-winning ice sculptors. They did ice for presidents, sports legends and Beyoncé, y’all. Watching my own parents create art that brought people joy and paid the bills definitely motivated my path. So glad that it’s come full circle (still waiting on Bey to call, though). Here’s to all the mom’s out there putting in hard work day-in-and-out and making it happen. Here’s to my own mom who raised me to be an entrepreneur and is part of the Festoon crew today. And here’s to the little boy who motivates me every day. I’m a lucky mama! 💕

Hi, friends! 👋 If you’ve got a message waiting on a return from us, we will get back to you this week! We’re currently overlooking this amazing vista in Palo Duro Canyon, just south of Amarillo, as we set up for the epic McHorn wedding! This wedding will definitely go down in our own Festoon history book as one of our most memorable. We did a little off-roading to bring in a lounge, Desoto Arch, rows of farm tables and mismatched chairs and it was so worth it!

Our Valentine’s Day Mini Photo Sessions are live! Head over to www.festoontexas.bigcartel.com to reserve your session (available in 15 minute increments) in our space in Georgetown!

These sessions are BYOCamera so if you’re a photographer, bring your client(s) and everybody else will want to bring your own photographer or selfie stick! There will be additional Valentine’s vignettes set up that you can use after your session (kissing booth, table for 2, outdoor spaces), plan for a little extra time for some additional snaps. We had so much fun with the Christmas sessions, we can’t wait to see y’all for some Valentine’s fun! Feel free to bring props! 💘
