WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!! 🎳

I would like to take this opportunity to formally welcome back all of our League Bowlers. We hope you had a great Summer and we are looking forward to another great Bowling Season! I would also like to advise you on some of our updates. We have started a facelift on the front of the building, so please pardon our progress and we will have it looking great pretty soon. As far as inside, most of the changes are in the back. Before I tell you about those upgrades, I want everyone to know some centers have gone to string pins and many more are planning to do so; however, here at Rockwell Lanes we have chosen to keep bowling traditional like the sport we all grew up on and most certainly enjoy a whole lot more than the arcade string version. As far as the machines and the backend, our General Manager/Head Mechanic Josh Feser has been able to complete three of his projects. These three projects will improve the Bowlers’s overall experience by providing faster bowling times, quicker and safer ball returns and also higher scores! First project was finishing up installing quick drop rakes which is exactly how it sounds, the rake now drops much quicker than before and prevents many more deadwood’s from occurring which speeds up game play. The next installation that I call ball elevators also known as “Humpty Dumpty Kits” in the mechanic’s circle, which basically lifts the ball out of the pit like an elevator instead of spinning and rolling up the ball wheel of which will bring the balls back quicker, safer and this also speeds up playing time. The last project was replacing the front kickback plates. The kickback plates are attached to the actual wooden kickback or side walls, these plates are what gives you tons of pin action when the pins bounce off the side walls, giving you much better carry and more strikes thus speeding up play, but, more importantly increasing scores, averages & FUN! 🎳
