Decorating this fireplace will never get old! How lucky to be able to install balloons twice in a month on it! Plus, took most of the reigns on this install, love watching her design.

This color palette was giving me all the summer feels and now I want to use it more!
The gold hoop has to be one of my most requested rental items to put balloons on. I always love styling it and making it work for the space and the event.

Since the Buffalo Spree magazine is out for May I can share the details of the tablescape and balloons we styled!
I’ve always loved the Alice and Wonderland theme and knew I needed to use inspiration from the movie to design the decorations. We used our own rentals throughout, some including our teacups hanging on our gold tree centerpiece to moss accents to our large playing cards placed on the table and in the balloons to bring some different depths and textures to the decor.
Thank you to and my mom for their assistance in installing and to .empire for allowing me to use the event space for the photo shoot! I’m forever grateful for this amazing opportunity with

The beginning of the event season has been very blue! Between baby boy showers and blue themed bridal showers we’ve been going through a lot of blue toned balloons! Last year it was lots of pink but blue might win out this year!
Also, I want to decorate this fireplace a hundred times over, it’s so picturesque!

Meet the newest mascot for All The Embellishments, Maisie the mini bernadoodle! She came to her first event installation today, since I just picked her up last night, and she was the talk of the town. She loves being held and wants to be in eye shot of me at all times so luckily my mom was with me to help with her.

Party Tip Tuesday from an event stylist and planner is all about how to keep kids entertained as soon as they arrive.
When it comes to entertainment, timing is key! Start the party vibes rolling 15-30 minutes after the party time begins to give everyone a chance to arrive and settle in. Need something to keep the little ones busy until then? Try a Scavenger Hunt that they check off items they found, Simon Says, I’m Going on a Picnic Game, a Wordsearch, Picture Finder, a DIY Craft or a Coloring Sheet. Anything they don’t finish they can do during downtime while waiting for food to be served or parent pick up. Invest in clipboards and any craft or item they don’t finish you can easily put in a ziplock bag for them to take home to finish. Let the fun begin from the moment they walk through the door!

Party Tip Tuesday from an event stylist and planner is all about where to place a backdrop or focal point at your event.
The first two photos were taken at the same venue, a couple months apart, same iPhone camera, and has the same preset on it. Second two, the same thing.
Are you wondering what the different is?
It’s all about where the light comes in. If your event is during the daytime you should never have your backdrop or focal point with a window behind it, you want the light hitting your face and not towards your back.
Photographers, weigh in, would love to hear from you in the comments.

What a year 2021 has been! I’m still overwhelmed with the love and support I’ve been given from every client and each of you who have shared my business and helped me grow! To my mom who has become my personal assistant and has worked along side of me, loaded and unloaded the U-Haul, cleaned up the messes I’ve left, worked 15+ hour days with me, organized each any every piece of my business and so much more, I thank you! To my dad who is my handy carpenter, brings me materials at my events when I didn’t have time to make it home, let me borrow his larger SUV, it’s greatly appreciated.
