Today, the Buffalo Marching Band made their first public appearance at the State Fair! Instead of wearing blue, we wore orange in support of Braxton.

Keagan and Brooklyn both had a special singing/solo part in the finale of the NHSTA showcase last night! So proud of them!

Look at these students! Brooklyn, Keagan and Amelia were dropped off on Sunday morning for rehearsal. Last night they performed in the Showcase Ensemble at the Nebraska High School Theatre Academy Showcase. Samantha accepted her award for scenic design. What a wonderful day at a gorgeous theatre with incredibly talented kids! Congratulations to all the performers and award winners!

July 1st: Drum line and color guard only! 10:00-12:00

July 2nd: Drum line and color guard
Middle school students (6th-8th grade for 2023-2024 school year)
10:00-12:00

July 3rd: Drum line and color guard 10:00-10:30
Everyone joins (all 6th-12th graders, plus community members if able) 10:30-12:00
- Water balloons
- Popsicles

July 4th: Parade @ 10:00
- Be to the soccer fields at TBA - wear a Gibbon shirt

*please bring water and wear tennis shoes each day!

Congratulations Samantha! Sam will be recognized for her set design of our musical Annie at the NHSTA Showcase on June 13th. We are so proud of you!

I’d like to say one giant thank you to everyone that came out to see us this weekend. Annie was a huge hit! She took a good deal of work, but it was worth it- we broke the “ticket sales record” not once, but all three nights!!! It was wonderful to see some new faces in the crowd. We truly appreciate all of your love and support!

In my 7 years at Gibbon, we have never had as many people at a performance as we had tonight….

3rd place- Saturday performance of Dear Edwina Jr. in 2022 we had 80 audience members

2nd place- last night (Friday performance of Annie) there were 95 audience members.

1st place- this evening, (Saturday’s performance of Annie) 162 audience members!

First of all, we appreciate you love and support!

Second of all, if you haven’t been to Annie yet, maybe you can come tomorrow at 2!

The buffaloes represented well at the Middle school honor band recently held in North Platte.
