Today, I had the joy of leading a Baby Blessing by a stream - the perfect setting for a family that loves the outdoors. Loved ones offered good intentions on pebbles that were tossed back into the stream, a symbol of love carrying this little one forward. The water from the stream was used by the Godparents for the water blessing, grounding the ceremony on the heart of nature. May your journey be blessed sweet baby girl🩷

The moms lovingly carried the rings down the aisle symbolizing their love and support.

From their hands, to mine, and finally to Anna + Kayla, the rings made a meaningful journey before being exchanged as a symbol of forever. 🩷

💍Officiant Tip: I am often asked what one is to do with the engagement ring during the wedding ceremony.

There are a few options that will make your special day even more unforgettable:

🔆Traditionally, the engagement ring is worn on the right hand and transferred to the left hand after the ceremony, symbolizing a beautiful new beginning.

🔆Some prefer to keep the engagement ring on and switch the order of the ring and wedding band after the ceremony, a lovely way to showcase your unique love story.

🔆Lastly, I have seen the wedding band and engagement ring slid on during the ceremony, a romantic gesture that will leave you breathless.

The truth is, there is no right way - choose the option that feels most comfortable and meaningful for you, and get ready to start this exciting new chapter in your life! 🩷

Before the wedding ceremony, Anthony asked me if his bride-to-be, Lisa, was ok. I could tell he was slightly nervous so I said I would check on her for him. Of course Lisa was fine and she now has a husband that will always make sure she is ok. How sweet is that?
