Mary’s Chuck Wagon is a mobile catering business for special events, parties, company functions and lunch meetings whatever the occasion make it delicious with our homemade foods. Mary’s Chuck Wagon mobile catering truck (known as the lunch wagon) is fully equipped with insulated chambers refrigeration and heating units in which pre-cooked meals can be stored at the correct serving temperatures fr

om the kitchen to the delivery site while keeping all food safety standards set from the Allegheny Health Department. Butler counties Health Department accepts and approves of the standards set by Allegheny Health Department. Workers may have difficulty making time for a full meal during the workday when they have to leave the facility to purchase their lunch reducing their lunch break time. Mary’s Chuck Wagon mobile catering can provide relatively inexpensive and simple meals, sandwiches, salads, sides and snacks to these workers. We provide, direct to your workplace, delicious homemade foods using quality ingredients.

My husband had a mini stroke a month ago and still is suffering some issues related to the stroke. Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone is well!

Well I had planned on a special his week. However, life tossed another curve ball! My brother who is never sick ended up in the hospital for diabetes (which he had no idea he was diabetic !) complicated by kidney stones! He is home now but I am taking care of him, so the plan now is a special in two weeks’ time.

After long consideration we have decided it would be best to close Mary’s Chuck Wagon Meals at Home for a few weeks.

Some of our family members have health issues, so like many families we are practicing social distancing by staying home and cancelling all other plans.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones during these uncertain times. We look forward to serving you again soon.

Winter is back! At 4:30 am Saturday I woke to the sound of wind and freezing rain! WHO CARES its Saturday what a great feeling!!

Well friends, it’s a new year and I am thinking of making this a healthier year!!

This week’s special is a healthier version of sweet and sour chicken with low carb cauliflower rice – we even made our very own sweet and sour sauce without the food coloring! Pineapple, peppers onions and cider vinegar add the sweet and sour. The onions and the bell peppers play an important role in balancing the flavors of the dish.

This weekend we have been busy trying different recipes and methods for making homemade bread. What words can I use to describe the aroma and taste of fresh baked bread on a cool fall day?

We had our best result using a ‘no knead’ recipe and a pre-heated cast iron Dutch oven. This bread had a lovely crispy crust and was smooth and light inside.

Not only was it great for dinner, but amazing toasted with breakfast.

This weekend we made:
Pineapple Coconut Cherry Dream Bars - these flavors are wonderful together

Pecan Balls with chocolate drizzle – light and yummy - the only problem with these is that once you eat one you cannot stop

Chocolate Expresso cookies - the Espresso powder deepens the cocoa taste. They have a slight crunch on the outside and a sweet; melt in your mouth inside. I cannot lie I ‘tested’ more than one of these LOL

And we top this platter off with a lovely, sweet, chocolate covered cherry mouse that Peter made
