This is a very intimate performance space (max seating 50) tailored to solo, duo, and small band performances. We have a high quality sound system, with all mics, stands, monitors, etc. We typically have a cover charge at the door. The income, after the $50 venue charge, is split (50/50) with the performer(s). Frankly, this room is more about the intimacy of the performance and not financial rewar

ds. The room just doesn’t have the revenue stream that a typical bar or club would. Though we truly respect and hope to someday be in a position to properly compensate our performers, we are not quite there yet. Artists do keep 100% of their CD and merch sales. Concerning bands, there is room for small drum kits and electric performances are welcome, but acoustic music is certainly preferred. Steamworks Creative is a listening room where original music is encouraged but not required. Weeknight shows start at 7:30pm, and weekend shows start at 8:00 pm with end times no later than 10:30pm – 11:00pm. Also, the artist should plan on a maximum of 1 hour sets with at least a 20 minute break for the audience. Though we aggressively support and promote our performers, Steamworks Creative does NOT have a built in regular crowd, the artist must develop their own audience. We expect artists to utilize all social media platforms and communication methods to attract listeners. In turn Steamworks Creative will use its resources to promote your show:
