Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there!! I hope you had an amazing day and felt loved and appreciated from start to finish. You deserve it!! We absolutely love getting to work with some of the best Dads on such momentous days such as a wedding.
I recently lost my own father and I love to look back on these photos and memories from my own wedding day. I am truly grateful I had a photographer who captured the emotion of so many beautiful moments that I can now share with my children and have to look back on when I’m missing him the most. My dad was the best father and grandfather and this first Father’s Day without him is a tough one. If you have your dad in your life, make sure you dance and laugh with him as often as you can and never miss an opportunity to tell him how much he means to you. If you can’t be with your dad or he has passed on to the other side, I am sending out extra love to you today. You aren’t alone. ❤️

Two more beautiful December weddings to go until we officially wrap up one of the busiest and BEST wedding seasons EVER. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover the word for the celebrations we have been a part of and the love we have for our clients.
Now that things are getting back to normal (for the most part!) weddings just FEEL different. While weddings have always been full of joy and love, this chapter we are in right now has a whole new layer intertwined within the moments we get to witness…friends and family are just SO thankful to be together and don’t take one little bit of that for granted. I’ve noticed people putting their phones down and just being present during weddings. Dance floors are jam packed with people not wasting a chance to party it up with their favorite people. The hugs are REAL and meaningful. The outpouring of laughter and happy tears and every emotion in between is so genuine, you can practically touch the memories happening that will be talked about for years to come.
It’s no secret that I cry at almost every wedding I get to be a part of…but dang…the heartfelt vows, the sweet grandparents soaking up every moment with such pride in their families, the parents fighting back tears during those parent dances, seeing people TRULY celebrating love and how powerful that electric energy can be, my amazing clients who become dear friends giving me those last “this was the perfect day!!” embraces at the end of the night…lots and lots of emotion this season and moments I will never forget. Thank you to our clients-past, present, and future who let us do this special work.
I’m not great at the Instagram thing because I get so many galleries and then have a hard time picking photos because I love so many of them! But when I saw these photos tonight of this amazing couple from a family I hold very close to my heart, I knew these images would SHOW what words simply fail me to communicate. This is the new way. This is how weddings feel now. And I hope they always stay like this. ❤️ m.vega and you two are pure love. Simple as that. 💕

One of the coolest parts of my job is that I get to work with people who inspire me. I got to meet this amazing couple while I was working another beautiful wedding for their friends, Alex and Luis, and they were in the bridal party. I was ecstatic when they asked me to help with their own wedding when they got engaged! They unfortunately had to postpone their wedding due to dumb Covid, but TODAY is their biggggg day and I am SO excited and happy to be a part of making sure it’s absolutely perfect for them!! These two beautiful people are the definition of soulmates. 10 years together and they are still so madly in love. They kept such a positive attitude through everything that came their way with having to shift the wedding and never once complained-they are “make the best of it” people in every sense of the word and their joy for life is contagious. So inspiring no doubt! g.baby and today is going to be EPIC and I can’t wait to see you both enjoying every second!! Happy Wedding Day!!! ❤️
