So happy to finally post this winter wedding at Shenandoah Mill for Kaitlyn & Grant’s special day. This white wedding had wintery greens, lanterns and gorgeous florals throughout. Smash Cake...um...yes please!! Trending for a first birthday is having a cake smash photo session where the child tastes refined sugar for the first time. I had the fun privilege to bake & decorate a cake for my granddaughter Sophia, set the stage and then snap away. With the help of her mommy and auntie, we had the best time because the whole concept is hysterical really. I am delighted that we managed to get a few good photos for years to come. Here is our experience and some tips we want share.
