Open to the public!

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming resource awareness event, “Gilroy: Health Family, Healthy Community,” which will take place at the Neon Exchange in Gilroy on October 19th, 2024, from 12pm to 4pm.

Gilroy is a bustling part of Santa Clara County, but does not always have access to the same resources as in other parts of the county. The main goal of our event is to strengthen our families and communities through education and resources. At this informative and interactive event, hear from elected officials and community leaders, enjoy entertaining performances, enjoy tasty food, and participate in fun games and activities, while learning about ways to educate your family with the tools they need to prevent harms and get support.

The event is hosted by the South Bay Coalition to End Human Trafficking, with partnership with the Law Enforcement Investigating Human Trafficking (LEIHT) Taskforce to increase awareness about and access to services for individuals being exploited or suffering from different forms of violence like human trafficking, sexual assault, wage theft and domestic violence. Together we can build resilience in our community to respond to exploitation and violence.

We hope you will join us for “Gilroy: Healthy Family, Healthy Community!”

October’s Youth Board meeting was a success! For this year's first guest speaker, we welcomed City Councilmember Zach Hilton 🌟.
Zach shared his insights on the significant role our youth play in local, state, and federal politics, highlighting the importance of getting involved to support positive change within our community.
