Every wonder what to do with worn out American flags? Looks like our local Boy Scout troop retires them with a ceremony.

The scout troop 779 will be doing a flag retirement ceremony at Gladwin city park at 630pm on Monday August 5 2024 anyone that would like to come and watch are more than welcome.

Tuesday night trio league is looking for a bowler to fill a team. Current team bowlers average 160-170. 3 person teams, $20/ night, starts at 6:30, typically done about 8:30-8:45. The Gladwin boys competed at states today in Jackson. After qualifying they were the # 2 seed. They won there first match but came up 23 pins short in the semifinal match. Great season boy’s! Still have individuals tomorrow morning at 8 am
