Greetings to all of Local Roots NEW FOLLOWERS!! We’re so glad to have you with us. As our customer base grows little by little each day, I thought I’d take this opportunity to introduce The Showcase to you, and tell you a little bit about how Local Roots works.
We’re located at 120 Plaza Way, on the downtown square in Glasgow, across the street from the Plaza Theatre. Look directly to the left of the painted murals on the side of the building you’ll find in the city parking lot. We’re tucked away in the corner of the alleyway. Our hours are Monday - Friday, 11-2. No dine in services, as we are a catering service AND a takeout eatery. We do have limited outdoor seating on our patio that guests enjoy during warmer months.
We feature a daily lunch special, and a Showcase FULL of all the most delicious, fresh, homemade items you’ll find in our little town. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a perfect dish every. single. time. Lunch specials are typically announced each Sunday on the Weekly Rundown report, here on our page. Then each evening I’ll post a reminder of what’s to come for the next day. The showcase is my pride & joy! You’ll find things like chicken salad, pimento cheese, cornbread salad, spinach dip, banana pudding, all different types of fresh made lettuce/green salads, buffalo chicken dip, tuna salad, pasta salad, the list goes on and on.
We cater all different types of events, all sizes, all seasons, all locations, all holidays, no matter how large or small…. Birthdays, weddings, graduations, showers, anniversaries, corporate lunches, etc.

Come check us out if you haven’t already!! Once you start coming, it’s hard to resist. Most customers become “regulars” and that’s just the way we like it! We also take special requests for lunch specials. Make a request and I’ll get it on the weekly rundown report for everyone to enjoy!
