To give you guys an idea of how these Valentine’s Day treats will be packaged…
They will all come in one of these plastic containers and each of the dipped strawberries will be placed in a mini Valentine’s themed muffin cup, and the cupcakes will also have Valentine’s themed muffin cups. I got the CUTEST assortment of sprinkles for the cupcakes, Oreo pops and cake pops! The Oreo pops and the cake pops will have the Valentine’s themed popsicle sticks that you see below. I’ll also be tying Valentine’s colored ribbon around each of the boxes, so the finished product is going to be super festive ♥️💗💜
Made an extra pan for my family and they LOVE it. Says it tastes like Reese’s without the chocolate.
I have THREE EXTRA of the SMALL SIZED PANS OF peanut butter fudge and also ONE EXTRA of the LARGE PANS.
Small pans are $15 each
Large Pan is $25
Please comment below if you’d like one or more of these for tomorrow or Thursday? Thanks!!
PSA:
I made this video to show my customers, as well as anyone who may be thinking about selling their own food, that I do have an llc with the state, a state inspected (every 6 months) and state compliant commercial kitchen, as well as business insurance, a local business license, and a food handlers permit. These are all REQUIRED to sell food, otherwise the state will be showing up at your door to shut you down, and you could be facing fines, or worse, for operating outside of the guidelines.
The only foods that can be sold from your home outside of some of these guidelines are baked goods, canned jams or jellies, and dried herbs and herb mixes.
Six months after I launched my business, someone called in to report me, likely thinking I was selling food out of my own personal kitchen, and a state inspector showed up at my door NOT HAPPY, and ready to shut me down. He was unaware that I had a full commercial kitchen or that I’d already talked to someone with the county who told me I fell under cottage laws and wouldn’t need a state inspection. Turns out, my business DID require an inspection because the food I was preparing and selling wasn’t on the list I mentioned above. So he inspected me and let me know what upgrades needed to be made, which I promptly made, and then passed me with flying colors. I’ve passed every inspection since, which I’ve now had a total of 4 in the past two years.
I don’t want to give anyone who has heard of my business the impression that I am doing this out of my personal kitchen, because then they may try cooking and selling food out of their own home kitchen and get into trouble, and I don’t want to be the cause of that.
I also want to give my customers, and any potential new customers, peace of mind knowing their food is prepared in a state inspected kitchen that follows all the safety guidelines required to serve food to the public.
SOLD OUT!!!
Thanks everyone!
