My husband gave me this sapphire and diamond ring on the day my third daughter, Tess was born (sapphire is her birthstone). On her wedding day, I gave it to her.
The ring on top was Tess’ great-grandmother’s, handed down to the first born daughter of each new generation on HER wedding day. My oldest daughter, Kathleen, is the custodian of the ring for now…and graciously loaned it to Tess for the day.
