It was all about spilling the tea, and garden party vibes for this breakout and lunch. Inspired by Anna Weatherley’s China, the porcelain served at ’s afternoon tea, we had the pleasure of enjoying pastries, tea, and a bit of entertainment in between sessions. For lunch we entered into yet another fully built out tent where we enjoyed synchronized catering service, live music, and a French inspired garden luncheon.

Caviar and champagne at Lone Tree.

The owners son actually got married here two years ago. He and his husband attended these parties, and it was so great to see them and celebrate their anniversary together. You can find their wedding in Vogue.

Note how consistent the colors are with a “suggested” dress code.

Smaller platforms were built out to keep the tables and lounges stable and define the space. Golf carts were ready to shuttle guests back to their respective accommodations. Take notes fam.

I recently attended my first Engage Summit at Nemacolin. It was such an incredible, immersive, and atmospheric experience. The amount of talent, creativity, and intelligent, people in the room was unmatched. I learned so much, had such a great time, and made so many relationships that I hope to continue for years to come.

Nemacolin’s hospitality and attention to detail was next level. It truly is a whimsical wonderland where real life magic takes place.

With that said, I’m going to take you on my journey through Engage. It’s a lot, so buckle up.

Rethink the spaces we work in often. Many couples want to know if we have worked somewhere before. While there are benefits to working somewhere often, it can be limiting creatively. You get in the cycle of repeating ideas because something works. Or you have already executed multiple ideas and now are struggling to see the space in a new way. I love going to new spaces and coming in with a fresh outlook. Of course we talk to those who are familiar with the space, and we do multiple site visits, but don’t get stuck. Keep pushing and get creative.

The way that this wall stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw it on Instagram, I knew immediately I had to go and see this venue. I love a big, over the top wedding. I am a maximalist through and through. I love the energy, the design, and the party. However, it’s easy to let the true meaning of the day get away from you. Every now and then I will book a micro wedding, an intimate affair, or an elopement. When everything is stripped away, you are left with people who love and support each other. Who are committing to do life together as a couple, and as a family. It’s such an honor to be a part of people’s milestone events. I recently got back from a whirlwind NINE days in central Mexico. It was incredible. We explored venues in Mexico City, took a bus to San Miguel De Allende. Had multiple site visits, amazing sunset dinners at rooftop bars, and met the most creative and hospitable people.
