We had so much fun frolicking through golden hour with Julia + Ryan for their post wedding session 💃☀️🕺

Why should you consider a post wedding session? Well, wedding days can be extremely busy - you might want to spend more time with your guests or your schedule might not allow for you to get photos during the best light of the day! Sometimes weather can impact newlywed photos on the big day also. Just know we’re flexible and here for you - plus who doesn’t want to put their dress back on?!

Sydnie + Steve’s winter engagement session took place in their cozy Alton, IL home, located directly above Sydnie’s clothing boutique (now located in CWE) and at a few of their favorite local haunts.

Engagement sessions might be our favorite thing to capture! It’s a chance to get to know our couples and their relationships more deeply. We love curating engagement sessions so that we can deliver not just pretty pictures, but meaningful experiences ❤️‍🔥 by the end of the session, you’ll know us a bit more too. When we show up on your wedding day, we’re greeting you with a familiar face - creating space for candid moments to unfold while helping you navigate your day comfortably 🙌

Your wedding details and where you ready set the tone for your day ✨🥂 we strongly recommend having all of your details together in a bag or box the night before your wedding, having an upbeat and intentional playlist playing on a speaker, and surrounding yourself with your favorite core group while getting ready to minimize stress and allow for precious candid moments to happen ❤️‍🔥

The Hill is a very good place for pasta and romance ❤️‍🔥
We had so much fun driving around Sarah, Marcus, and their pup Annie’s neighborhood in their sweet ride for engagement pics that would make any Nonna proud!
We wrapped their engagement session with champagne and sunset by the Old Courthouse downtown, “where it all began” 🍾🥂

Lexi + Jake exchanged private vows in front of the stunning stained chapel windows of Stone House of St. Charles right before their ceremony - we loved how intimate their day felt, taking cherished moments to soak it up despite the significant amount of guests there to witness and celebrate them ❤️‍🔥

When it comes to couples photography, Fall is probably our favorite season. Spent the first half of Ami + Andrew’s engagement session playing in the crunchy leaves - we miss those Fall colors already 🥲🍁 keep an eye out for the second half of the session soon!
