Join us for An Author Luncheon with on Tuesday October 1st. Julia Phillips is the author of the bestselling novel Disappearing Earth, which was a finalist for the National Book Award and one of The New York Times Book Review’s 10 Best Books of the Year.
Julia’s most recently published book, Bear, is a story about the bonds of sisterhood and the mysteries of the animals that live among us—and within us. Bear is a propulsive, mythical, richly imagined novel from one of the most acclaimed young writers in America. A 2024 Guggenheim fellow, Julia lives with her family in Brooklyn.

There will be a catered lunch at 12pm, and the program will start at 1pm. During the program, Julia will discuss her writing process for her two books and more. Q&A and book signing will follow the program. will be there with both of her books for purchase.

$25 for members, $35 for non-members.
