Some gowns as low as $99

All off the rack

Gown sizes 10-24
(This is bridal gown sizing which tends to run about two sizes small, so size up about two sizes from your “normal street clothes” when picking out a gown)

Each client allowed up to two guests to attend the sale with them. Absolutely no exceptions.

No appointment necessary, we will open at 10 am and will let clients into the shop in increments so as to keep everything running as quickly as possible, so get here early if you want to have first pick!

HOWEVER, if you would prefer to have some more one-on-one time with a stylist, but still only want to look at sample sale gowns, we are taking sample sale APPOINTMENTS later in the afternoon. These appointments allow you more time with a stylist, up to four guests, and a little more time. If you want one of these appointments, contact us here at the shop at 818-484-8774 or by emailing us [email protected]

PS - if you message or email us to let us know that you will be coming to the sale, we will tell you the secret that will allow you to skip the line. If enough of you are interested in skipping the line, we will open an hour earlier just for the bunch of you.

Hey friends!!!

We have been lacking in posts on Facebook because of the technical issues we had with it (our posts, especially reels, getting ruined by the quality of the upload) and because not a lot of our clientele seems to be on Facebook anymore. HOWEVER, we have decided to jump back on and give it a try and see who we can engage with on here! (Pun full intended.)

If you’re wondering why we don’t post to Facebook a lot, it’s because we don’t get a lot of traction here. Plus, videos get distorted so the social media we are making on tiktok doesn’t transfer well into posts here, and it takes a lot of time to fix those posts in order for them to look good.

As of Dec 19th, it’s been 20 years since we met Eowyn on the big screen, and 19 years (as of the 18th) since we watched her battle the Witchking.

Today is the 13th anniversary of the release of “The Princess and the Frog!”

You know how nearly every bridal shop is using this Disney princess sound on social media?

Well, we had to do something ridiculous for our 200th Instagram post, and, though it took longer than expected to make because we like to do things a little differently here at Lorien, our Disney Princess Wedding Gown tiktok couldn’t be the same as every other bridal shop’s!

October is breast cancer awareness month, so we thought we would show off our pink gowns and accessories in honor of the pink ribbon, 🎀 and in honor of cancer awareness in general, as all different types of cancers are represented here in these photos. Photos from, what I would define as, our most important photoshoot ever.

Three years ago a friend of mine passed away after a long battle with breast cancer. I have been wanting to do this shoot in tribute to her, and to everyone else fighting cancer, for a while now.

These four beautiful ladies, two of which are Lorien brides, have all battled cancer. Each of their stories is heartbreaking, inspiring, infuriating, astonishing, and magnificent.

I cried quite a bit after this shoot, but during, we all had the best time just loving how phenomenal all our stories are and how glad we were to all be together for such a beautiful purpose.


I love you ladies, and I wish you, and everyone else out there fighting cancer, the best possible outcome.

Also, to Libby and Nicole, I hope you have the most FANTASTIC weddings! Both of these awesome humans are getting married this month! You’re the best (and so are you, Whitney and Jessica!), and I so appreciate you sharing your stories with me, and letting me share your triumphs with everyone else.

These two probably are.

Lorien bride Katrina actually brought a light saber into her appointment, so of course we had a ton of fun searching for her perfect gown.

The Doctor Who/Star Wars/Marvel wedding plans she originally told me about had me super excited, and sometimes you just need a gown that gives off bad ass Star Wars character vibes.

Miles by Watters does just that!

The photographer did a great job of capturing the nerdy heart of this couple, but we just HAD to photoshop one of the shots to make it just a little more epic ☺️

For the 20th anniversary of the release of “The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring” film, we put one of our favorite whimsical gowns on a mannequin to display its awesome Arwen vibes.

The angel cut sleeves might belong in Rivendell, but the intricate lace and keyhole back mix in some Art Deco and modern vibes as well! It’s everything you could want in a fantastical gown, and has the best fit for any shape.

Still not enough whimsy? Add a cape! Perhaps this should be Lorien’s new motto: just add a cape!

On this day in 1907, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (creator of Sherlock Holmes) married his second wife, Jean, and said this about it in 1923:

“On September 18, 1907, I married Miss Jean Leckie… There are some things which one feels too intimately to be able to express, and I can only say that the years have passed without one shadow coming to mar, even for a moment, the sunshine of my Indian summer which now deepens to a golden autumn.”

So sweet.

Happy two-month-iversary to Lorien Bride, Audra and her hubby, Paul!

We got some amazing photos from Audra a few weeks ago and just HAD to share them.

Audra came in to Lorien late last year and told us she would be getting married in Kansas City where she grew up. Her mom was happy to tell us all about how spectacular the church was that they would be getting married in, and I immediately understood why Audra had asked for a long train on her bridal gown.

She ended up saying yes to “Selena” by Maggie Sottero Designs and then also purchased our “Tudor Crown” by Justine M Couture off the floor! That crown went so perfectly with that very regal gown and Audra just looked amazing.

Congrats again, Audra and Paul! We are so honored to be a part of your wedding adventure and I can’t wait to hang one of these photos on the wall in the shop 😊

Sami purchased this gown from us OFF THE RACK! It was just the right size for her and the wedding was only a few months away, so it was the perfect fit!

You can always purchase (almost) any sample gown off the rack at Lorien, and receive a great discounted price on that sample, HOWEVER, during the upcoming sample sale, the discount will be even greater.
New collections are coming in so we need to make room!
Instead of the normal 10-20% off the price of a sample, these gowns are going to be 20-40% off!!!!!
