After years of being urged by friends and family to open a baking business, Sue Perl followed their advice and did so. 600 Sweets & Treats, LLC. was born in January 2013 and for the past three years has provided delicious, handmade, homemade baked goods throughout Milwaukee's North Shore and Southeastern Wisconsin. You can find Sue and her baked goods all around town at various

events. In the meantime, she caters for everything from weddings to small family gatherings. These are treats you do not want to miss out on. Made from the most fresh ingredients and by an incredible woman with over 25 years of baking experience, you can taste the love in these amazing treats. Make it Monday!
Banana Split Cookies
Kid Friendly & easy
Ingredients: ( 1 cup equals about 16 cookies)Chocolate chip cookie dough( store bought or homemade), 1/4 cup chopped walnuts( optional), 1-3(depending on amount of cookies being made) ripe bananas cut into 1/4 inch chunks, 1 jar maraschino cherries( cherries need to be cut in half), sprinkles( brightly colored), & chopped or chips of ( semi-sweet)chocolates.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees or per directions. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Put cookie dough in a bowl, add walnuts, and mix throughly using a fork, spatula or spoon. Using your hands press chunks of banana into cookies. Roll in ball , & space about 2 inches in cookie sheet. Bake for 9-14 minutes; or until cookie is completely golden. Remove from oven & let cool. Melt chocolate in microwave after cookies are cool.
Spoon teaspoon of chocolate on each cookie making curves on edges. Scatter sprinkles lightly on chocolate. Top with cherry half. Allow chocolate to completely harden at room temperature.
Store in sealed container at room temperature2-3 days. Banana flavor is more pronounced the day after baking. Enjoy!

Candy Bar Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients: Cookie or cake crumbs mixed with melted butter and pressed into greased pan, vanilla ice cream( 1 pint-1 quart depending on size of cake), 1 jar caramel sauce( homemade or store bought), 1-jar lightly salted & roasted peanuts, 1 jar hard shell topping, hot fudge sauce( optional), & chopped candy bar bits( optional). Layer pan with crumb & butter mixture. Bake 5-6 minutes in 350 until firm. Cool. Slightly thaw ice cream. Layer ice cream. Freeze 20 minutes. Layer crushed peanuts & caramel on top. Freeze 10 minutes. Layer more crumbs( no butter added), another layer of ice cream( freeze for 20 minutes)crushed nuts, caramel, freeze for 10 minutes. Then hard shell topping. Freeze for 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Remove from freezer, remove from pan( or eat it out of pan-your choice). Enjoy!

Make it Monday!
Blueberry Muffins!
Makes 10-12
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour,
3/4 cup granulated sugar,
2 1/2teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk( any kind)
1/4 cup sour cream( or yogurt)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tablespoon orange zest( do not omit)
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries( frozen must be thawed first)
Coarse sugar for sprinkling on top of muffins( optional)
Cupcake liner
Line 12 muffin pan with liners.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix zest into sugar. Mix remaining dry ingredients in bowl with sugar & zest. Make a well in center of dry ingredients.
Mix eggs with milk & sour cream until combined.
Pour milk mixture into well. Mix until barely combined. Add blueberries, stir until blueberries are throughout. There will be lumps.
Spoon batter into muffin pan.
Sprinkle coarse sugar( if using) on top of muffins.
Bake 18-24 minutes or until golden & toothpick has a few crumbs.
Cool. Enjoy!

Fat Tuesday is tomorrow!
Celebrate with a little bit of brownie-perfect when you want some but not a whole pan full.
Add some decorative sprinkles to get in the Mardi Gras spirit!
Ingredients:
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
(optional) 1/2 cup nuts( any kind), or other add ins of your choice( chopped candy bars, chocolate chips etc.)
Decorative sugars/sprinkles.
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Great small loaf pan.
Line pan with parchment or wax paper.
Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in microwave stirring ever 20-30 seconds until no lumps are left. Add in sugar, eggs, & vanilla.
Stir until all mixed in. Stir in flour completely.
Add optional ingredients.
Pour batter into pan spreading evenly.
Bake 28-35 minutes until toothpick has crumbs.
Sprinkle with decorative sugar(s) if using.
Cool. Enjoy!

Happy President’s Day!
Mini Blueberry Crumble Pie!
Ingredients: Pie crust( store bought or homemade), fruit pie filling( your choice), topping( nuts, or oats & sugar, etc. Mini cupcake liners. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Rollout pie crust cut out with 2 inch cookie cutter, then press into cupcake liner. Par bake for 5 minutes, lining crust with foil & beans. Remove foil fill with filling, sprinkle topping over filling. Bake 5-10 minutes, when crust is golden. Cool. Enjoy!
