Glendale is cited, alongside its neighbors Los Angeles and Long Beach, as being the 12th most vibrant arts communities in the nation, by SMU DataArts, the National Center for Arts Research.

Our city has consistently appeared on the Arts Vibrancy Index since the launch of the rankings in 2015, due to the programming efforts of the Glendale Library, Arts and Culture (GLAC) department.

and Follows Eye and Junior High will be leading participants in clothed Life Drawing workshops featuring model(s) of different body types, abilities, and backgrounds. By drawing others, we are highlighting healthy body image, improving our relationships with our own bodies, and gaining new perspectives on others and the world. In participating in this workshop, we are also going against the archetype of the typical western beauty usually celebrated in art.

Wednesday, November 06: 5:30PM - 7:00PM
