We are seeking an experienced sales associate, with retail experience; an outgoing, friendly individual to join our fast-paced floral team. Primary job duties include providing excellent customer service and contributing to sales volume growth, responsible for the presentation of the floral retail space and keeping the floral retail space clean at all times.
The assistant’s purpose is to assist and apprentice floral designers during production and processing to enhance efficiency in the floral workshop.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Provide outstanding customer service and contribute to sales volume growth.
-Assist clients with floral purchases both over the phone and in the retail store by providing attentive service, answering questions and troubleshoot our customer's issues.
-Demonstrate the ability to be organized, to work independently and with the team to provide the highest quality shopping experience.
-Ensure merchandise and display standards are maintained and the flower shop looks gorgeous.
-Knowledge of different flower types and varieties.
-Flower processing and preparation.
- Assisting Floral Designers in weekly production.
-Design floral and plant products based on skill and experience level.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Previous experience in retail is required.
-Computer proficiency
-Oral and written communication skills that allow for productive communication with co-workers, management, and customers.
-Proven ability to effectively and professionally meet customers needs, listen and respond effectively to concerns, along with exceptional follow-through skills
-Prioritizing requests, duties, and activities while managing interruptions and attending to details to complete tasks within deadlines is a must.
-Utilizing training resources and fellow team members to educate themselves and others about product uses and characteristics.
-Saturday's a must.
