Today we served lunch to the the Navy Base in Philadelphia. Not the navy yard. It’s a sprawling complex up North Philly. At the conclusion we were shocked to receive a Bronze Challenge Coin. Very honored to have received this! I’m guessing they liked the walking tacos!!

This is how Wikipedia describes it.

Challenge coins are small, medallion-like tokens, often adorned with the emblem or insignia of the presenting organization. Challenge coins serve as a symbol of membership, belonging, and camaraderie, forging a strong bond among those who possess them.

On Wednesday night, we are partnering with Cooper University Health Care to benefit the 3 Wishes Project. A portion of proceeds from sales will go to the foundation. The Walking Taco Company will be on hand to provide food for guests.

The 3 Wishes Project's mission is to improve the quality of the dying experience for patients and their families.

Their three objectives are:
1. For patients, to dignify their death and celebrate their life.
2. For family members, to humanize the dying process and create positive memories.
3. For ICU clinicians, to foster patient and family-centered end-of-life care and inspire a deeper sense of our vocation.

We hope to see you there to support this awesome cause!

Join us Sunday 5/5! The Walking Taco Company will be on site from 1:00p-6:00p (or sellout) at 2SP!
The great folks from Forgotten Cats will be at 2SP with merchandise and raffles all benefiting Forgotten Cats Inc. Forgotten Cats Inc.'s mission is to humanely reduce the homeless cat population and to stop the suffering of the thousands of kittens born to abandoned, homeless cats. They do that by working with a colony of caregivers to humanely trap, neuter, vaccinate, and release (TNVR) every cat within a colony.

There will also be Live Music from Rick Choate Acoustic from 2:00p-5:00p.

Tasting Room, Brewery Warehouse, and Delco Deck (weather permitting) seating will all be available (to eat your tacos & drink great beer!) See YOU there!
