Mohawks fell behind 1-0 in the 4th inning as jack lapham allowed Ben Lavery to hit a RBI double with 2 outs in the 4th.
The Mohawks finally got on the board in the 6th inning. Gage Miller got hit by a pitch to begin the 6th. Brett Coker followed that by getting a single which put runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs. Miller was replaced by Jacob Hand who pinch ran for them. Cade bush got a sac bunt down. Mark Black got a RBI single which tied the game at 1-1. They put Jack Wren in the game with 1 out in the inning, however the killer for the Dutchmen was when Zach Gardiner hit a grounder to 2nd which could have been a DP instead the Short stop booted the ball which allowed everyone to be safe so Coker scored which gave the Mohawks their first lead of the game. Hunter Thomas got a big two out RBI single which got Mark Black home. The 3-run inning ended on a Conor Moore strike out.
In the 7th inning the Mohawks sent Chris Sutor out. The Dutchmen attempted to tie the game up again with Ben Lavery starting off the inning with a leadoff walk Ty Gallagher followed with a Riley Montayne strike out. Santhosha Gottam came in and gave up a single to Tyler Young which loaded the bases with only one out. However the Mohawks got a big break, as Cam Jordan hit a infield flyout Lavery tried to tag up and score but instead ran into the 3rd and final out of the inning.
The Bottom of the 8th was where the Mohawks put away the game for good. Cade bush got HBO with 1 out followed by Mark Black hitting a double. The Dutchmen intentionally walked Zach Gardiner to get to Josh Overbeek however that plan failed as Overbeek got a RBI single which kept the bases loaded. Hunter Thomas struck out however,Connor Moore, with two outs, put the game out of reach with a big 2 run 2 out single which made the final score 6-1. Winning the Mohawks their 8th game of the season.
