Chef Kieran is ready to tell you all about the delicious Irish food he is preparing for St. Patrick’s Day! We will be open 11 until 6 tomorrow.

Happy Friday! But, this is not an ordinary Friday - it is half way to St. Patrick’s Day, and Chef Kieran has a message for you! In case the accent throws you, here is our menu for Friday and Saturday - * bangers & mash with onion gravy * coddle * Guinness stew with mashed potato * shepherd’s pie * sausage rolls * whiskey- glazed cabbage * stout brown bread So, celebrate with a proper plate of Irish fare! For those of you not so much in the Irish mood (if that is possible!), we have limited amounts of roasted duck, Mac & cheese, sugar snap peas and wild rice. Soups are potato & leek and southwestern.

We will be open 11 until 6 or until we run out of food!

Life is too short to not eat great food!

The Alton area is home to many wonderful restaurants, but we thought there was something missing . . . where may one find gourmet food to-go? And, that is how it started! Our concept is a simple one - offer great, fresh food that you may enjoy in your own home. Our menu will be diverse - from coq au vin to shepherd’s pie to beef wellington to vegetarian curry - and will feature two to three different entrees and sides each day the shop is open. Additionally, we will have fresh-baked bread, soups, hummus and gourmet sandwiches.

We are committed to offering the freshest food, using only the highest quality ingredients. We will source our beef and lamb from farms committed to grass-feeding and natural growth (no added hormones), and we will buy from local farms as much as possible.

So, whether you need dinner for one or ten, we will have something to satisfy!
