Do you know the significance of a red poppy on Memorial Day?❤️

This beautiful flower, often seen during this time of the year, carries deep historical significance tied to World War I.

Amidst the devastation of the war-torn fields in Europe, red poppies bloomed abundantly, inspiring the poignant poem “In Flanders Fields” by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae.

Just like fresh, we have a dried flower bar set up in the studio. You can pick out single stems or customize your own creation with the help of our talented designers.

Our dried flower bar has a combination of fresh-cut flowers and greenery that were dried in the Middlemist studio or by Colorado based farmers.

Hi, I’m Holli, artist and maker, who loves plants and gardening. I’ve already started planning out this year’s garden and can’t wait to try and grow some amazing flowers this year, now that I’m learning so much from Erin at Middlemist.
When I’m not at the floral studio, I’m doing one or more of these: 1) working at my home studio making fabric collage artwork, 2) working my plot in the warmer months at the Golden Community Garden, 3) driving my kids around from school to activities and back again, or 4) my newest endeavor: botanical art and illustration classes at the Denver Botanic Garden.
I feel so lucky to have found a job that combines my love of plants and art, and look forward to seeing what we can create at Middlemist!
