A service to celebrate Sallie’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Cheryl Benson officiating. The family will recieve friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Goldsboro Friends Meeting, 1800 Salem Church Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Sallie of Sallie’s Bridal gained her wings earlier this week. Please keep our family in mind as we navigate a tremendous loss.

We will continue to share her story and store with all of you. I am still honoring appointments this weekend as my grandmother would want.

We will continue when the time is right.

Everything in my grandmother’s store is brand new. However, it is frozen in time! We have dresses dating back to the 60s that have never been worn both bridal and formal. -Dee 🤍

This dress was made for Polly. Her vibrant spirit matched this dress beautifully. Although she wasn’t looking for a wedding dress, I think she’ll see us again in the future. -Dee

Happy Thursday friends!

With the holidays around corner and wanting to take a step back and be with family we will be open this Saturday only from 10am-3pm. On the weekends, you do not need an appointment.

Hi all,

I wanted to provide an update in regards to our website and opereting hours for clarity.

We are currently only open weekends Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm.

During the week we are appointment only. Please do not show up to our store without an appointment because our time is commited to those with booked appointments! 🫶🏼

Our booking software will be up and running late tonight. We as a family have decided to pause virtual appointments and only hold in-person appointments.

We will be releasing “drops” of dresses for our website. This means will we release small quantities of dress at one time. We will show the dresses on our socials and give a date and a time they will be released on our website.

My grandma Sallie would have portraits taken of her brides and when they would publish the protraits in the paper, she would write a detailed description of each dress. Her cursive writing and attention to detail was immaculate. -Dee

Hi everyone, if you are new to my family’s story I wanted to give a brief introduction as to who I am. My name is Deanna but I go by Dee. I am the youngest granddaughter and watched my grandparents and my mom flourish in this industry. My mom presently still runs Aries Formal Wear in Goldsboro, a family tuxedo business that started in the 70s. I have a Bachelor’s in Recreation Management and a Master’s in Education. I was born and raised in Goldsboro and just moved back about two weeks ago (we still haven’t unpacked). I have a wonderful husband that you’ll see at the register on the weekends. Also, I have the sweetest son and a baby girl on the way. I love interacting with each of your and learning the industry my family has dedicated their whole life too. I always hoped I would end up at my grandma’s shop. Please don’t be shy, because I will jibber jabber all day! From one Sallie’s customer to another, welcome to our family!🤍

Happy Thursday to the lovely people, friends, and families that support our store!

Currently, we are only open on the weekends.

We are by appointment only during the week.

We will be open THIS WEEKEND Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm.

Our second floor is off limits unless an associate is with you. All furniture is not for sale.

There are only four dressing rooms open and to keep the wait time at minimum we are asking for our guests to only try on 3 dresses at a time. Please find an associate and locate a dressing room when trying on clothes. Some of our dresses are extremely delicate.

Select wedding dresses and accessories will be 30% off this weekend.

Select items will be full priced.

Please keep in mind many of our vintage pieces with new tags are rare. They will be priced accordingly.

Our 75% discount will apply only to formal dresses (prom and evening gowns).

Final payment will be calculated at the register with an addition of sales tax.

Cash only! We will not be accepting card. There are many banks near us.
