Attention all thespians! Tomorrow we will be holding our December thespian meeting, as well as our White Elephant gift exchange! The price limit for all gifts is $20 and you must bring a gift to participate.

Today we held our first set build for our middle school's upcoming musical, Frozen Jr!! All of our crew teams worked very hard and we're very proud of the progress made.

Today our one-act team got 2nd place runner-up at the region 3B States competition! This is the furthers Goochland has ever made it in the VHSL one-act competition.

Kaelyn Roy and Connor Davis also recieved awards for being two of the most outstanding performers!

We want to send out a huge thank you to Piedmont Virginia Community College, Mr. Fowler, and all of our amazing parent volunteers.

Today our one-act team took 1st place at the Region 3B Super-Regional competition! Taking 1st means we advance to the state tournament on December 7th in Charlottesville!

Kaelyn Roy won the top performer award at the competition!

We would like to thank the Warren County Theatre Department for being gracious hosts! It was a fun day of theatre overall!

Another big shoutout to our amazing parent volunteers! None of this would be possible without their support! Also, a huge thank you to the for a few of the band members and Mr. Sykes surprising us today at the competition!

This Saturday, Goochland's Theatre Arts II/III/IV class will be performing Brian the Comet at regionals for the VHSL One-Act Competition in Warren County! Break a leg!

Today the Theatre Arts II/III/IV class won 1st place at the VHSL Region B (14) Subregional One-Act Competition!

Congrats to Syd Johnson on their directorial debut! Kaelyn Roy won the top outstanding performer, while Connor Davis took second!

Next stop: Regionals in two weeks!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT🌟⬇️

Stephen has been in the drama department for the past 6 years and is a member of Thespian Troupe #6704. He plans to attend JMU this fall to major in psychology. His favorite role was Mr. Green (Clue) and his favorite memory is watching everyone grow behind the scenes for the past six years. Congrats, Stephen!🎭

Rachel has been in the drama department for 7 years and is apart of Thespian Troupe #6704. She plans to attend Virginia Tech this fall to study biology on a pre-med track! Her favorite position was being the assistant stage manager for Clue and her favorite memory was experience all of the opening nights with her best friends. Congrats, Rachel!🎭

Adele has been in the drama department for 6 years and has served as the social media manager for Thespian Troupe #6704 for the past 2 years. She plans to attend UNC Wilmington this fall to major in marketing. Her favorite roles have been Race (Newsies) and Lucy Grant (Bright Star). Her favorite memory was going to NYC with her theatre family. Congrats, Adele!🎭

Camden has been in the drama department for 7 years and currently serves as the Vice President for Thespian Troupe #6704. She plans to attend Longwood University this fall to major in theatre education (K-12)! He favorite roles have been Alice Murphy (Bright Star) and Ilona Ritter (She Loves Me). Her favorite memory was co-directing Charlie Brown and getting to know her best friends and theatre family through the department! Congrats, Camden!🎭
