Drakewood Farm is a historic country wedding venue located only 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. Our 1850 Mansion sits on 40 acres of beautiful farmland with three barns. We have a large bridal suite in the Mansion and a spacious groom’s cottage. Your guest can watch the sunset during dinner in our 4,000 square ft reception pavilion. In today's episode of "Did You Know", we draw your attention to this beautiful home and venue located at 5508 Brick Church Pike. This is the Elias Drake House built in 1850 by Elias Crossbury that was sold to Elias Drake during the Civil War. If you've ever been lucky enough to take a peek inside, you'll still see some of the original wallpaper on the upstairs walls! This is now better known as the Drakewood House, also home to Drakewood Farm!

Coincidentally, this is also the venue for our upcoming Chamber Awards Gala on Thursday, February 27th! (See what we did there?). Anyhoo, while our amazing soiree will take place in the barn beside this antebellum home, maybe you can wander a bit to see the beautiful home.
