and my family will greet you with open arms. We can design our dream florals for every occasion, through every season. Help you pick out your new bedtime story or beach read while you sip on a hot coconut latte. Kids will be holding onto their favorite jelly cat, flipping through pages of their next adventure and the older couple who visit daily will be smiling in adoration while they work on our puzzle together. If it’s a Saturday, you’ll hear live music amongst the chatter of neighbors who are now friends talking about their latest book while they wait to pick up their weekly bouquet …this one is to deliver to their sister who just had a baby. We will be the little corner spot for you to visit throughout all seasons of life and we will watch your babies grow up and someday design their wedding florals. If not in this lifetime- always in my dreams. Until then - we will continue to do everything we can to spread love through our flowers here on the farm and everywhere we go. 🩷🌸

Our passion with flowers is when we can get our hands in the dirt but living in Michigan - well, that limits us. And we don’t like to be limited with things we love :) Last year - my mom and I made a commitment to ourselves that we would have flowers INSIDE our home. We intentionally cut a bouquet for ourselves or bought one during the winter months knowing the positive impact it has on us and how happy they make us. This year, we are so excited to be able to bring you flowers in FEBRUARY!!! We are partnering with and this couldn’t be a more perfect love match. I shared this the other night in my stories and it really resonated. We have spent a lot of our marriage prioritizing our date nights but there are definitely seasons where there aren’t enough days in the week or dollars in the budget. So- we make the best of the time we get. Or we make the time - we both didn’t need to go to practice this evening but we did and it was so nice to have him there and we could catch up 💙 Let go of what you think a “date night” looks like and soak up the mundane and take advantage of these moments with your person. They all add up 🥰

but I’m still very, very excited to start planning our flower season 🤫🌱🌸☃️

Pencil and paper and a dream is how we started and it’s so special to me every year - we change things, we grow, we challenge ourselves, and we dream big. I’ll take you along for everything we have planned!! So so excited - like, can’t sleep excited! And it’s been a minute (or two) since I’ve felt this way. It’s such a gift to love this life and this farm like we do!! Grateful doesn’t seem like a big enough word. 🤍

A core memory unlocked - watching the Lions become #1 through the eyes of my son and my dad last night 💙🦁 The energy in the stadium and city last night was truly unmatched and so beautiful to witness!!!

One of my favorite moments that we talked about on the way home was in the 4th quarter, it was 3rd and 9 for the Vikings and they brought up on the big screen and the stadium went absolutely CRAZY and ended up sacking their QB!!!

To know the Detroit Lions is to love the Detroit Lions - Get our coach his deserving Starbucks & Let’s GOOOO!!!!!!!

launched our own online cut flower course, became a proud Friend of Carhartt, planted 500 peony plants, increased our tulip crop by 19,000%, hosted pumpkin bouquet bars, wreath workshops, photography sessions, Santa on the farm, summer concerts, a WEDDING, designed for weddings, traveled with bouquet bars to celebrate baby and bridal showers & bachelorette parties, built more raised beds, continue to have weekly Friday Night Dance Parties, and even though we are heading into our fifth year- we are just getting started!! We truly started with land covered in snow and a wild, huge dream with the intention of getting our hands dirty, spending more time together as a family, and spreading love through flowers. You may come for the flowers but we hope you stay for the memories. 🌸 Happy New Year!!!

He asked me tonight how we met and after explaining through years that it was such a miracle last year and how it was such an answered gift to us because of his generosity - he replied, “God is so good.” It was so meant to be having him enter our lives and be able to meet so many families here at the farm, week after week. We chat every moment we can, I sneak in the greenhouse to steal some of his heat and our relationship deepens. I cry when he sings to the kids, when my kids run to him every chance they get and ask him so many questions to which he literally has the best stories for, and when he giggles - he sounds exactly like my grandma Grace whom I miss dearly and it’s no coincidence that after he left tonight, Dolly came up to me with tears in her eyes and started crying saying that she misses Nana (my grandma) who has been watching over us now for 5 years. He reminds all of us of her and they don’t even know it. ❤️ He took a chance on us and has made our lives so much better and inspires me to spread joy, love and magic. We still have two more weeks of Santa here at the farm and I promise to keep it together!!! He knows how much I adore him and I’m sharing this because if you ever encounter someone who is genuinely the definition of love - tell them and keep them close. 🤍
