Major themes are: awesome volunteer support, 24 hour races are for everyone, believe in yourself, and sign up for next year ASAP.

24-hour mountain bike races are few and far between and are some of the most special events out there. They aren’t well known so if you’re hearing about it for the first time here, you’re in the vast majority. 24 hour races involve a full weekend of being a tight-knit community living together...

Meet the Team/Racer:

“As family we have been coming here since 2010. We used to own a bike shop in our town—Harborside Cycle—in Gloucester, Mass. 2024 is my second time racing the 24 hour. My first year was 2015 with Heidi (my mom and 2024 24HOGG volunteer) as a 2-person. 2024 is my first year racing as a SINGLE SOLO rider under 40.”
