Fresh pasta is a labor of love. It takes time and patience. I could buy pasta, or use an electric machine and it would still be good, but this is better! I make the dough by hand and I use my nearly 100 yr old Italian pasta machine that was passed down from my great grandmother, to my grandma and then to me. It’s a whole experience for me.

Alaskan Halibut with fresh basil, grape tomatoes, and green olive tapenade over basmati rice.
I absolutely love this dish! The vibrant acidity of the tomatoes and salty tapenade balance the buttery richness of Alaskan halibut! And the rice! as it cooks the bottom gets golden and crispy while the top stays tender and fluffy! Killer!!
