To all of the fans of the town and Country band, we have sad news to report. Our lead guitarist and dear friend, Lee Barnum has passed. Lee was a huge influence to the band and a beloved musician and brother. Lee loved performing and it was due in no small part from Lee that there was a Town and Country Band. It was Lee‘s suggestion that we start the band back in 2012. We never looked back and right off the hop, started doing 1-2 performances each month—sometimes more. Every time Lee performed, you could see his enthusiasm and love of music. His energy was infectious. His musicianship was top shelf. There will never be another. The world was a better place while Lee was in our lives Playing his guitar and being our friend.

So, a final farewell from Dave, Mark and Ward (the originals) and Diana our band manager, Victor, Jon, Jared (sound engineer) Tanner, Katie, Steve, Jim Leslie Jane and Lew our guest artists. You will be forever playing beautiful lead guitar and singing in our hearts. Keep up your chops Lee. We all look forward to our next jam in the great beyond. And yes, the PRS has mind blowing sustain. I will think of you whenever I play it.

Town and Country will end 2021 having made some great music for the fine folks of the Greater Grand Forks area.THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO SUPPORTED OUR MUSIC AND THE BUSINESSES THAT HIRED US TO PLAY.

While we didn’t do as many performances as precovid, we did pick up a little bit. We hope next year will be better. If you are interested in having us play, give us a call. We can do big or little shows.

Prices

4 sets of music/4 hours
Full show with light &laser show/full stage/sound engineer

$5000.00 for local shows. 2.00/miles for out of town travel.

Everything else is less expensive. Most spend 2-3K for a scaled down version.

I also know lots of other bands. If we can’t do it, I will do my best to introduce you to a band that can.
