Don't forgot about the bar! ​​​​​​​​​.​​​​​​​​​On inquiry calls with potential couples, it seems like so many lately say that the most important part of their wedding day is:
1. Spending quality time with their families and friends, and
2. Having an epic and fun party!
Thinking about your bar early on will help make sure that your wedding day is the party you've been dreaming about.
Here are some things to consider when planning your bar:
--What do you want to serve? Beer & wine only? Signature cocktails? A full bar? There are many possibilities that work that will fit your budget & vision.
--How will guests get their drinks? Will you have bartenders pour and serve everyone? Will anything be self-serve? Do you want a bar trailer, or a showcase bar set up?
--What about non-alcoholic options? So many more of our couples and guests do not to drink alcohol, so what will you have available for them? Can you include a fun mocktail?
--What special moments do you want your bar to be a part of? Do you want a welcome drink or glass of champagne for your guests as they enter the ceremony? What about a champagne toast or a commemorative shot? Are there special elements you want your bar to help with?

We've noticed a trend this year:​​​​​​​​​.​​​​​​​​​Many of our couples are opting out of photography coverage for the "getting ready" portion of their days.
This can be the absolute *right* choice for some couples and events. Photography coverage is typically based on the number of hours you want photographed, so that means you can capture more of the party if you skip the early portion of the day.
But for other couples having these fun details and casual moments caught on their day is so important.

Today is the final day for our series​​​​​​​​​"The Best Parts of Weddings Aren't Always Planned"​​​​​​​​​.
The finale to this list is that our groom got called onto the stage to perform with his *dream* band, . To say it was incredible would be a total undersell!
So, now that we've been talking about surprise, unplanned moments from this wedding all week you might be wondering why.
Really, this entire theme, that unplanned moments are sometimes the most amazing, is one of the biggest planning philosophies here at Kosi Events.
We truly believe in well thought out, organized, beautiful, and planned events. But, it's when our couples give in to the day, the hour, and even the minute that they often find true bliss and the memories that they want to create.

As a reminder, this week we're doing a series called​​​​​​​​​"The Best Parts of Weddings Aren't Always Planned"​​​​​​​​​.
Number two on our list from this amazing wedding is an impromptu first dance.
This couple had originally planned to skip just about all traditional wedding day items and opt for a laid back dinner followed by incredible music.
