Bridge street Trick or Treat was such a success. We had the best time passing out candy and dressing up as the witches of Oz 💚✨💗Everyone loved going through our archway and taking photos in front of it. We love being a part of this fun event each year! 🎃👻

✨We are beyond thrilled to share that we recieved the Platinum award for the CommunityVotes - Lansing MI 2024 in the wedding planning category and a top pick in the event and party planning category! We are so greatful for each and every one of our couples, clients, friends and family who support and believe in 1945 Event Co. ✨🤍 Each and every year we learn, grow and aspire to bring the best for our clients. 2024 has been an amazing year and we are still over here creating more magical events from now until the end of the year. We love our community and are excited to be working with local business and community members to create amazing weddings & events! 🤍✨

Yesterday we began planning an exciting holiday install for the local Lansing Amazon Facility! We can’t wait to bring some holiday cheer to their work place! ❤️✨

Happy first day of fall 🍁🍃🍂 and Cheers to 33 🥂 🍾🎉 Starting 33 the only way I know how, setting up an event with our design, decor rentals and fresh flowers! 70s garden party vibes we are coming for ya 🪩🌼 When you love what you do it doesn’t always feel like work! An amazing year filled with so much to be greatful for. Purchasing a historic building in Sunfield with my best friend and starting the journey to our dream business was a highlight. Traveling around the state this summer for so many amazing couples and enjoying our beautiful state along the way will always be a pinch me moment that this is really my life. Continueing to have such amazing support from family and friends means the world! Blessed with love, laughter, and so many answered prayers in my life. Here’s to another year of adventures and growth! 💫 🥳✨

✨Being a part of Sara + Franks Wedding Day was nothing short of magical. The entire vendor team was top tier and created a flawless day for the couple. Their large wedding party brought their energy and they were all ready to party and celebrate the newlyweds. There was so much love and joy present in their day. Thank you for choosing us to be a part of it! We were able to help complete their look with some of our rentals! Our runners, napkins, glass taper candle holders, chimneys, pink tapers and votives helped create a cohesive design with beautiful soft pops of pink! I don’t think I have ever been thanked so much by a bride, thank you Sara for being so sweet and expressing your gratitude! There is nothing better than a happy bride when she sees everything come together! ✨

✨ Being a part of C + N’s engagement was so special. Hearing about their love story, seeing how perfect their friends and family wanted their day to be, and the pure joy captured was nothing short of magical. We had so much fun creating this beach side proposal and adding special touches like; C’s favorite song lyrics leading the path to the special spot, N’s favorite sunflowers included, champagne and engraved flutes as a memorable keepsake, and assorted chocolate covered fruit for them to enjoy! We just love being a part of helping create such special memories ✨

It is with great honor that I have been selected for this award alongside 4 other amazing women 🥰✨

✨💚Brittany lives in Lansing with her husband, Scott, and their pets: the Great Dane/Saint Bernard mix Rheo and their cat, Lady. Brittany has always had a special place in her heart for community involvement and giving back. In 2019, while serving as the head caregiver of a before/after school program in Grand Ledge, she decided it was time to pursue her dream business, 1945 Event Co.

This venture allowed Brittany to follow her passion for planning and design, bringing others’ visions to life. From Kindergarten until graduation, Brittany was a Girl Scout, and she believes it helped shape her into the woman and entrepreneur she is today. An avid lover of antiques and the TV show I Love Lucy, Brittany enjoys going on adventures and basking in Michigan’s natural beauty.
