We’ll draw the winners of our Cabaret du Mortel ticket giveaway tonight around 9PM, which means you still have time to click through to the original post (shared here), like the post, tag the person you’ll bring to the show, and share the post on your wall! Everyone who does all three will have their name thrown into a randomizer tonight at 9PM, and the three names that pop out each get two tickets to the Cabaret.

We planned the Cabaret du Mortel on a day and time that wouldn't conflict with Theatre Bizarre, so folks could attend both if they wished, and then we were shocked and saddened to hear that Theatre Bizarre was cancelled for 2023.

We can't give you Theatre Bizarre. But we can give you our own party, showcasing Grand Rapids' alternative performance talent, to add a little darkness and devilry to your Halloween season.

What is the Cabaret du Mortel? The Cabaret features four performance areas, all with different content ratings. The Main Stage is NC-17 and features Beauty Beyond Drag Productions, Bad Babes Burlesque, Chaos Goth Industrial’s Chvrch of Chaos, and more!

The Kink Experience is rated X, and includes education, performance, and participation.

The Bat Cave Lounge is rated R, and gives a classic goth club experience.

And the Cafe space is a low-stim, G-rated environment with psychic readings, a vintage typewriter lounge, and the Snack Mountain.

Cabaret du Mortel is a 21+, sober experience, and we hope you’ll join us for the Halloween fun!
