Today I had the honor of doing a funeral luncheon for my Daughter’s Mother in Law.
What a wonderful turnout out for a Woman that fought a heck of a battle and certainly is well loved by many. God’s Speed to her and Our Lord’s comfort and grace to her Family!

December 18th at Sobie’s Meats.

As with many, COVID 19 has changed the way I have had to go about business. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to do much of anything but I have found doing a Takeout Tuesday lunch has been very beneficial.
Like others, I have had plenty of time to reflect on many things. My health, physical, emotional and the continuance of my daily recovery. Things that I’ve missed or put off in years past because of the nature of my business, such as Family time, relaxation.
I haven’t picked up a Golf club in years, I haven’t played one round of golf with my Son who will be 28 this year nor with my Daughter(not that she golfs much)or my Son in Law.
Therefore, I’ve decided that starting in 2021, I will no longer be doing any Graduation Parties. Summers are too short as well as Life in general.
For all the those that have hired me in the past for your Son or Daughter’s Grad Event, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
In the future, I hope you will consider my Catering Services in another capacity.

Today's Gift, Daily Inspiration

To give and to receive are one in truth.

Giving our love away, honoring someone in need by giving our full attention, will usually bring kindness and concern in return. And unkindness and neglect on our part are likely to result in the same from others. We will usually elicit that which we’ve so thoughtfully or thoughtlessly given.

Not many elements in our life are so fully in our control as how we choose to treat other people. There are few among us who aren’t moved by another’s expression of pure, unconditional love. We are humbled by it and feel valued. We can honor the existence of our fellow travelers by our open, willing love for them, too.

We need to feel appreciated. And yet, to express appreciation is such a simple act, one that has profound effects for all concerned. Acts of kindness multiply very quickly; we contribute to a world favoring our true humanity when we give out loving thoughts even as we receive them.

I will extend the hand of love to a friend today and thus help to make a better world.

Just getting crazier and crazier. With all the bar and restaurant closings, these employees are really going to suffer. Many work paycheck to paycheck and depend on TIPS to pay their bills. If you get a delivery or go for a take out please be as generous as possible when tipping. When this finally clears and these establishments reopen maybe it would be good to give those folks a little bit bigger gratuity than usual.
Times like these bring out the best in people and sometimes the worse. Be one of those that are the best.
As for myself and my business, I’ll be ok. I’ve had cancellations but most have been rescheduled. Plus I’m suppose to go to AZ this Friday for a couple weeks so I already was off during that time. Hoping I can still go.
