Venues are often the first vendors to book up, so you shouldn't plan on a specific wedding date until you have your deposit in with your wedding venue. Once you have a guaranteed date, you can start to book your other core vendors! This past weekend at the Revel Center, we donated our space to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital for their candle lighting ceremony. This was part of a national event that honors and celebrates the lives of children recently lost to ailments and uncurable diseases. Families of these children came to light candles and share their love with each other, and there was not a dry eye in the room.

Our hearts go out to the families who have lost a child this year or any year. We are grateful to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital for hosting this event, and for giving us the opportunity to contribute to this somber, but important moment.

Christmas is a time of joy, but also a time of grief for many. If you are grieving this Christmas, please know that our hearts are with you. We wish you peace and comfort this holiday season.
