We couldn't forget the groomsmen and their roles in supporting the man of the hour!
1. The bride can be late, but the groom can't! Make sure he is on time to all festivities during the day. Get lots of candid photos!
2. We know we don't have to remind you to keep a drink in his hand, but making sure he is eating and staying hydrated is more important and easy overlooked!
3. Be sure his tie, boutonniere and jacket/vest are adjusted properly throughout pictures and getting ready to go down the aisle.
4. Finally - The Best Man needs to make sure he has the rings!

Bridal Party Task Day #4 - The Lady's Maid - This attendant is making sure all of your personal items are available when you need them. Transferring everything between venues to being sure each item is packed at the end of the night is her focus.

Bridal Party Task Day #3 - The Personal Assistant! This bridesmaid is making sure your makeup is staying fresh all day and touching up your lips before key photo events like the grand entrance, first dance and cake cutting! She is also making sure you are staying hydrated and fed during the day!

This week we are taking Wedding Tip Wednesday each day to highlight how your bridal party can help on your special day! Day #1 - The Maid of Honor.

During the day she should be helping keep you on schedule. Once you are in place for the ceremony, her number one job is fixing your dress for perfect pictures. Practice after getting dressed her fluffing your train and don't forget to have her lay the veil on top of the dress! She will then take your bouquet and pass you a tissue if needed! Finally she will be giving a toast during the reception to celebrate you both!

Wedding Tip Wednesday!
One thing we see many times is dresses not being steaming until the wedding day. This always takes long than expected especially if you only have one steamer. Bride's dresses should be steamed the week before and bridesmaids at least the day before so if you need to do any touchup at the venue, it will be so much quicker!

One other thing to steam the night before is your day of matching satin pj's. You don't want right out of the package crease lines seen in your getting ready pictures! Raelani Stockwell Photography

Wedding Tip Wednesday! THE KISS!
1. Make sure the officiant knows to move out of the way for photos.
2. Kiss a little longer so the photographer can get the best shot, at least 3-5 seconds.
3. If you are going to stop halfway down the aisle to dip and kiss, be sure to practice this at your rehearsal!
4. Finally, practice before the wedding your first kiss. Hand placement, dipping and bouquet placement. Not only is this important, but lots of fun!
