It’s official... on Monday, the State of Michigan will finally allow safe gatherings of up to 100 people in an outdoor setting. To say we are excited would be a major understatement! We could not be more grateful for our sister company, @greencrest_manor , which will allow us flexibility with some of our beloved MD couples to have both an intimate celebration AND still a big ole party at a later date. If there’s one thing we’ve learned over and over this year, is this world needs far more LOVE and UNITY. This time of year is a Team MD favorite as we eagerly await warmer skies, greener grass, and of course... blooms bursting full of life. In keeping with this season of change, the Modern Day team is overjoyed to finally share with you not only our website, but also, our full business rebrand. Whether you know us from the original Modern Day Events and Floral, Modern Day Creative, or Gwyneth Paige Couture Letterpress, we welcome you to celebrate with us the launch of Modern Day Collective. All the arms of our business are still there - with Gwyneth Paige now morphing into Modern Day Press House.
We have operated for a very long time with the understanding that our business is so much more than a florist, wedding planner, event designer, stationery printing, consulting, etc... However, we fully understand how sometimes that can be confusing for our beloved clients, old and new. Our hope is that this new umbrella entity, Modern Day Collective, will unite all of the various elements of our business under “one roof”, and therefore better serve and support our clients with a well-rounded range of services.
It is with a grateful heart and joyful tears that we lovingly share Modern Day Collective. Thank you for all of your support over the years and for following along on our journey. This would not have happened without the driving encouragement from @myrnapdaramy and Laura from @dotteddesign . These women are now family, and we are honored they spent their precious time making sure our new website and brand matches our hearts and hands.

Today kicked off our corporate season with Amway New Platinum Conference. We had the challenge of designing a natural, farm-to-table inspired event in a very formal ballroom. We brought in as many natural, rustic elements as possible - including wood farm tables from @fancyfray, pergola structures with twinkling bubble lights, incredible potted trees and plants from @hyacinthhouse, and topped it all off with fresh floral designs featuring local yummy produce.
