90's music trivia was in full swing tonight at Perrin Brewing Company We had an absolute blast playing trivia! We had some super close competition tonight. In fact it was a one point win for "Stuff Bizkit!!!" Right behind them was "Win or Booze!" Our Lucky Losers tonight went to a team that was their for their rehearsal dinner, "Sirus Snape's!" Wowza! We packed the house for a special night of 90's Music Trivia down at Küsterer Brauhaus 🎉🎶💾

Things started out close, but soon Price is Wrong, Bitch! broke ahead and kept the lead to the end🥇💸🚫 Rodents of Unusual Size went head-to-head in a tiebreaker with White Ford Broncos to earn the silver🥈🐀👑 while Bat and Boujee won the spin of the wheel to become our Lucky Loser's this week and also received a VHS copy of Pretty Woman for their efforts 🍀🦇💅

A huge thank you to everyone who came out tonite to the Corner Bar and a genuine apology to anyone we weren’t able to seat. 90s Music Trivia was as packed as we could make it and we had a great time! A tiebreak closed out the nite to decide the winner between Breakfast Club and Raw, and it was Breakfast Club emerging victorious! They took home Rob Zombie and a gift card to the venue, leaving Raw to enjoy the silver medal gift card. As always, we spun a wheel to determine a bonus winner and it was N6 Towing who got gifted the gift card just for being there and doing their best! We’ll be back next week with 2000s-themed general trivia; follow us here as we have updates about our capacity at the Corner Bar. See you soon!

I've got kind of a last-minute update for those of you planning on playing Trivia Cat tonight at the Rockford Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan.

Unfortunately, the Rockford Corner Bar has just found out that they are currently limited to only 49 people in the event space upstairs due to the latest Fire Marshal instructions. So, unfortunately, seating for trivia will be limited to the first 45 people (less than 49 to accommodate potential staff count). You WILL be allowed to save seats for your teammates if you arrive early. Just have an accurate headcount when you arrive. I am so sorry for this! The Rockford Corner Bar will be looking into what they need to do to lift this new restriction in the future. Seating starts at 6pm, although if the event space is not in use, it's possible you may be allowed in earlier.

This likely will affect future Trivia Cat events at the Rockford Corner Bar as well... at least for the immediate future.

Those of you who are know Collin Ball, your Trivia Cat host at the Rockford Corner Bar, please feel free to reach out to Collin to get updates on the live seating situation. Collin will be there early to set up and will help you as much as he can.

If you end up not being able to attend Trivia Cat tonight in Rockford, please consider playing with us tomorrow (Thursday) evening at either Küsterer Brauhaus or Perrin Brewing Company.

Hello hello hello! Wow, did we have a fun (and PACKED) night - huge shout out to those of you that stood, or sat at the bar to play❤️

Not a lot of perfect rounds tonight… for those of you playing later this week, brush up on your music trivia! 😉

Despite the difficult questions, it was a tight race for first tonight! Round 3 ended in a tie, but the Rezervoir Cats managed to eke out the win with 63 points. Here for the Beer Sr close behind with 61.

Our lucky losers tonight were Live Fast Eat Trash who walked away with a $15 gift card for their hard work.

Olympics-schmolypics! Thank you one and all for joining us at Küsterer Brauhaus for another hot night of general trivia 🤔💡📚

Things are always coming down to the wire here and tonight was no different. In a last minute upset, Golden Shower Ratio took a one point lead and claimed top prize 🥇🚿📐 while NICE went home with the silver after a stellar run on top 🥈😁👍VanPazzy (or at least half of them) were this week's Lucky Losers 🍀🚗🫂 and Certified Outlaws received a VHS copy of The Nutty Professor for their efforts 📼🥜🎓

A near perfect round 4 was enough to bolster Chik’n Sedan to first place tonite, putting them a single point ahead of The Whovians who nearly caught them in the last round. We had such a good nite playing TN 69 at the Rezervoir Lounge last nite that Collin forgot to post until today 😬 A perfect round 4 set up Something About Quizzes to be the top team at the end of the nite! They took home a Funko and gift card to the Rez Lounge. A tiebreak for second between WYCE H***y Unicorns and Danny’s Devi-Toes didn’t take place because the Toes gave a birthday gift to the Unicorns and conceded the silver to them. We’re all friends here! Our wheel spin win went to We’ve Seen Better Daves who are a great team that I would never tease! Our top prize - of course - came down to a tiebreaker, with Bundelosers defying freakonomics and becoming our first place winners 🥇🇩🇪🍺 bar-mainstays, Scramby Eggs had to settle for silver 🥈🍳👩‍🍳 while Not Here to Win didn't traditionally, they did win the spin of the wheel to become this week's Lucky Losers 🍀🙅‍♀️🏆 and PDA + T took home a VHS copy of Twisters for their efforts! 📼🌪️🐄

That was a nail biter tonite! We played Trivia Nite Vol. 68 at the Corner Bar tonite and it was one of the closest events I’ve ever hosted. The nite had to end on a tiebreaker between Two Pumps and The Cheese Throwers and with a nearly perfect answer it was Two Pumps taking away the gold! Congrats to them on their new Funko Pop and gift card. Silver medal went to The Cheese Throwers for their excellent effort. Not quite bronze, not quite a participation trophy, Coconut Trees took home a gift card for showing up and doing their best! I’ll be back next week for more general trivia; see you there!

Oh, those summer nights (of Trivia)! Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Rezervoir Lounge for July Movie trivia. Keeping their streak alive, Masters of Karate and Friendship have once again taken first place. But they missed a single question so they’re not THAT good, right? Second place was a close game until the final round where Something About Quizzes took the definitive position! We wanted to add one more winning team to the mix so our wheel winners for the nite were Team Awesome, who were, you guessed it, awesome! These team rankings take into account scores from the past ten months of movie trivia, through the June 2024 Edition! We had a blast tonight downtown on the west side at Küsterer Brauhaus for brand star-spanglingly new general trivia 🤔💡📚

Because y'all can't stop being good at this, our top two teams came down to a tiebreaker. When the dust cleared, Quizzical Attraction were the very best (like no one ever was)🥇📝🥰 while Scramby Eggs tried to catch them (the real test), but ended up going home with the silver🥈🍳👩‍🍳 and this week's Lucky Losers were our 3rd place hopefuls, Rodents of Unusual Size 🍀🐀👑

The Corner Bar was packed in and rowdy tonite while we played Trivia Night Vol. 67! Thanks to all the teams who came out to play and thank you for letting me squeeze you in where I could. Our big winners at the end of the evening were Price Is Wrong, Bitch who led the whole evening. In the last round The Whovians had a nearly perfect performance that rocketed them to second place! Our wheel spin deemed the River Rascals worthy of a prize as well and sent them home with a gift card same as second place! We had a great time tonite at the Rezervoir Loung playing through Vol. 67 of general trivia. Teams were in tight competition all nite but the last round set Rezervoir Cats firmly in first place by a single point, sending them home with our Bulbasaur Funko! Second place came down to a tiebreaker between Live Fast Eat Trash and Bourdainiacs and it was the latter who emerged victorious! Our winning wheel team was the couple of K&M who had a great time which is the goal of us all! Collin will be back with Movie Trivia next week; see you there!
