Happy Groundhog Day, and even tastier than groundhogs (I presume), Happy National Tater Tot Day! The latest Trivia Cat Worldwide Music Trivia Team Rankings are here! These rankings display the top 25 teams in the world! Results from most recent Music Trivia event, Jan 2025 Edition are included in these rankings! Let’s see who’s rocking the charts!

This list features team names, their ranking positions, total points (calculated from their performance in the last 10 events), the venue where they last played, and the number of lifetime wins (if the number is green, the team won their last event).

Not on the list yet? Don’t fret! Keep rocking those music trivia nights because these rankings are a reflection of the past 10 months of performances. Your team could be in the limelight soon!

Upcoming Events: We at Trivia Cat are excited! We have been working hard behind the scenes… this upcoming week marks the first time we will presenting two trivia events! You can catch Music Trivia – Feb 2025 Edition #1 on Mondays or Tuesdays. And you can play Music Trivia – Feb 2025 Edition #2 on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Refer to the events section here on Facebook to see what trivia edition will be at your favorite venues.

As far as the rankings go, your team will not be penalized if you continue to play Trivia Cat once a week like you’re used to. But if you are a team that has a trivia addiction, and you have the time and desire to play both events during the week, your best showing of the two events will be used in next month’s rankings calculations. It’s kind of like best ball in golf!

We’ll also be hosting our first every Music Trivia event at Shots on the River! If you are in the Belmont area, come out and play on Monday at Shots on the River with your Trivia Cat host William!

Holy moly - hot dog! We had a blast down at Küsterer Brauhaus playing general trivia 🍻😸🎉

The night's events were absolutely thrilling, as multiple teams jockeyed for the top spot. By the end, it was Scramby Eggs who claimed the gold🥇🍳👩‍🍳 beating out second place, The Golden Shower Ratio, by a single point🥈🚿📐 while our good friends in Team Fun won the spin of the wheel to go home our Lucky Losers 🍀👥✨

We played trivia tonight at Perrin Brewing Company andHoly Cats what a night it was!!!! 17 teams came out to play tonight! In the end there can be only one. Tonight's champions, "Price is Wrong, Bitch!" They took the lead in the first round and never looked back! Second place went to "Daddy Issues." Your Lucky Losers for the night "Star Wh**es." Thanks to all who came out to play tonight!

Big thank you to everyone who came out to play some general trivia tonight at Corner Bar, I had a blast filling in for Collin 😁🍺🌭

After starting the night strong, The Neurospice Girls maintained their lead to the very end 🥇🧠🧂 while a tie was broken in order to declare Smack Down our second place victors🥈✋💥 and From Behind won the spin of the wheel to go home our Lucky Loser's 🍀↩️🍑

Thank you Ada Garage Bar for helping us heat up this cold January nite! We played through Trivia Nite Vol. 82 with an eager crowd of would-be winners but only one could take first place, with tonite’s honor going the Whovians! With their two perfect rounds they edged out newcomers Fried Chicken and Champagne who gladly took home the silver! We did a wheel spin to add one more winner to our event and it was Chicken Tenders Please who hemmed and hawwed the last two rounds about sticking around til the end. Perseverance and luck pays off! Will returns next week with Music Trivia for you so come and rock with him!

A great nite of trivia was had by all at the Rezervoir Lounge as we played through Trivia Nite Vol. 82! It was a close game with single points separating our leaders throughout the nite but a single point put Danny’s Devi-Toes first on the podium! Right behind them was Live Fast Eat Trash who gladly took the silver for the evening. We had a wheel spin to add one more illustrious winner to our ranks and tonite it was the lovely ladies of the Rez Cats! Trivia Night was back at Third Nature Brewing Company and Holy Cats was it a fun night. We had the most teams ever so far playing tonight! Our first place champions who won via tie breaker "Quizzly Bears!!!" Second place went to "The Breakfast Club!!!" Our Lucky Losers tonight "Yes with Energy!" If trivia on a Monday is this much fun I might stop dreading Mondays! Thank you to Shots On The River for having us for Trivia Nite Vol 82 where we had a great crowd of would-be winners! At the end of five rounds it was Hot Dog Water who held the lead through the nite going home with $25 for the venue and our Funko Pop of the nite! Narrowly behind them was Ladies Night who had a well-earned second and a $15 voucher to Shots. And to add even more happiness to the world, we did a wheel spin to add one more champ and it was our dear friends the Wildcats! Thanks for having me tonite; Will is back next week to serenade you with our Music Trivia event for February!

These rankings showcase the nerdiest know-it-alls from the last 10 Trivia Night events! The number in parentheses following a team name isn’t just a number—it's their shiny badge of honor for all-time championship wins. And if it’s glowing green, that means they sn**ched the crown at the last Trivia Night, adding to their glorious victory count!

Things are scrambled at the top of these rankings! SCRAMBY EGGS and TITANIC SWIM are all knotted up at #1! The stage is set to see who will come out on top after the next Trivia Night! We had an artic blast playing movie trivia down at Küsterer Brauhaus 🍻🎥🍿

The folks at Trivia Cat HQ have to keep the difficulty turned up so high because the real cinephiles come out to compete! Tonight was no different with this week's winners, The Golden Shower Ratio, only missing a single point 🥇🚿📐 while our second place team, Quiz Girl Friday started the night perfect, but eventually missed 2 dastardly points 🥈📝📆 and the 4th place, Coming to America? NOPE, won the spin of the wheel to become our Lucky Losers 🍀🇺🇸🛸

I'll be back Thursday at 7, like usual, with some unusually great General Trivia 🌍🤔📚

Thank you Rockford for showing up tonite despite the weather! We had a great time playing Movie Trivia at the Corner Bar tonite. Local champions Rounding Third took first place, securing another win for their dynasty. They had tough competition tonite in the form of Rezervoir Cats who travelled up to play with us tonite and earned a strong second place! Our wheel winners for the nite were Schorn who not only won but proved they had friends to win with! Jordan will guide you all through general trivia next week, so make sure to join him same time, same place!

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to come out to Movie Trivia at the Rezervoir Lounge tonite. We kept our body temps up with plenty of beverages and some hot competition! At the end of our evening it was Masters of Karate and Friendship who took home first place, including our Funko and a $25 gift card. Right behind them all nite were our friends on Danny’s Devi-Toes who got a modest gift card of their own. Rounding out our trifecta of winners was HOT SOUP! as our lucky wheel winners. They would have won “Best Team Name” if such a prize existed. See you all next week for more general trivia!

Happy National Popcorn Day! 🍿 Now there’s a day that’s fitting to celebrate alongside the release of the latest Movie Trivia rankings! That’s right, it’s time for the monthly release of the latest Trivia Cat Worldwide Movie Trivia Team Rankings! 🎬🐾

These rankings are based on scores from a full TEN months of movie trivia events, including our December 2024 Edition. You’ll notice numbers in parentheses next to each team’s name—that’s their all-time movie trivia victories. If it’s in green, it means they racked up another win just last month. And if you don’t see your team yet, don't worry—keep playing Trivia Cat Movie Trivia, and your team might be in the lights soon!

In the top spot once again is MASTERS OF KARATE AND FRIENDSHIP! SHAPE SHIFTERS couldn’t be much closer in the #2 spot! THE GOLDEN SHOWER RATIO and FOOT CLAN maintain footholds on the #3 and #4 positions! And ROUNDING THIRD managed to come around to the the final spot in our top 5
